Integral on their website states the TBW 1120 for the 2TB M3 but don't state the TBW for the M3 Plus

Great value drive for PC and PS5 users.
It was cheap at £95 from Amazon, so this is a very nice price.

How does this fayre in terms of reliability to the Samsung 870 Evo?

Both very reliabe TLC NAND drives, but the warranty on the Samsung is longer I think.

The 870 Evo has DRAM cache though so is a slighter better performer, DRAM can also help extend the life of a drive. (edited)

Do I need a heat sink on this in a well cooled case?

Plenty of people run them without and have no problems, but for an extra £7 or so you may as well get one just in case.
