    No. You need a pcie 4 ssd, the ssd in this deal is pcie 3.

    QLC NAND, which is less durable, and sequential speeds are a little on the low side (only affects game install times, game loading times will be the pretty much the same as the internal drive) -

    I have a laptop which has a 256gb drive as a primary storage if I get this I want to replace that since I already have a 1tb drive for the second slot how would I replace this as a boot drive will keeping all of my data?

    First make sure the m.2 drive in your laptop is nvme, not sata. It's not always true, but the easiest way to check is if the connector on the 256gb drive has one or 2 notches. 1 notch and it's nvme, you're good to go.

    To keep your data on the boot drive, you need to clone it. That means you need to buy an external nvme drive reader.

    Then boot into a usb drive that has cloning software, or use windows software like Samsung magician (I'd always reccomend a usb boot software, I wouldn't trust a complete duplication of windows while it's running)

    Then swap the drives over, and should work no problem
