    I went for this 3 month deal for 99p yesterday.

    However upon double checking I discovered I was due to be billed £7.99 on the 15th of September.

    Contacted customer services who informed me it was a mistake on their end.

    So just in case it helps anyone else, it might be worth double checking your subscription dates to make sure they're correct.

    Not showing for me, only the full price regular.

    I did this same offer around the same time last year so it might be a "once you've used it you can't do it again" permanently thing if that knowledge helps anyone.

    Just used this deal (which appears slightly further down on the linked page) using an audible account that has been dormant for a few years. It allowed the deal, and correctly said 99p at the billing stage. But, at the payment stage credit card was asking for verification of a £7.99 payment. Contacted customer service who said the discount is applied after the payment is verified. 99p correctly charged to card, Bit of a faff but a god deal all the same.

    Audible and Amazon can email you special offers and then when you sign up (on the email they have sent the offer to) for them say you are not entitled to it and try and charge you the full amount, and you may not notice the price change on sign up.

    At one point I had a very grumpy conversation with their customer services who insisted that even though they had emailed me and had banner adverts for the offer when I was signed in I was not entitled to it. Beware. I think once they cancelled Prime and gave me a full refund a day or two in but I had the benefits another time on Audible they grumpily honoured it. To be fair on Audible while over the years I've spent a significant amount with them none of it has been at full price subscription (unless that came with another month free)

    I was very unhappy after noticing this as well. They also have the same practice going on when it comes to promotions involving prime etc. You’ll literally click through on a link they’ve provided in a promo email and it will go straight to “confirm sign up.” But in tiny writing it will show a different price because you’re not actually eligible for the promo. I don’t know how they get away with it.

    Does is clearly state 2 and 3 are free . ?
    i paid the 99p but on trying to cancel further payments it says it lasts till sept 19th..

    Didn't work for me but Audible can have some amazing value, it's pretty easy to game it. You can download the files to a PC, even strip the DRM if you care that much with some easy software. And you can 'return' a book even after listening to it. I have done it a few times, including on books I genuinely didn't enjoy or that I thought were too short for the amount the monthly credits cost. Which then gives you more credits to use on other books. So realistically you can probably get more than 3 books out of this deal which for £0.99 is great. You can also do the common trick of telling them you want to cancel and they throw an offer at you, so potential for more value.

    Didn't work for me either. We'd cancelled out Audible account. Used to really enjoy it but tightening our belts a bit this year. Unless I'm missing something, does it not work for my situ?
