That's a great deal been looking for good deals for a MiFi solution, this is by far the best deal I've seen.

exactly what I was looking for, although would you be able to add calls onto it or can you make calls

Just data right, no minutes / texts?

Any minutes or texts??

On every EE contract the monthly price plan charge will be increased by … On every EE contract the monthly price plan charge will be increased by RPI in March of each year. Other prices, such as call charges and Roaming costs, may also go up during your plan. Your first annual RPI increase will take place in March 2017.

Something to bear in mind.

Amazing deal. Anyone after data only should bite.

Such a shame there are not minutes/texts - I'd scrap 12gb of data for minutes and texts at the same price!

Can anybody tell me if I can use this in my MIFI in Europe? I can't find any details anywhere.

I agree. If I could add minutes and texts I'd jump on this.

Shame it doesn't come with a handful of minutes and text, great deal though and set hot.

So could I use this in my second SIM slot on my phone for 4G internet? Whilst still keeping a separate SIM for calls/texts?

Yes

Would have been scorching with minutes and texts. Still hot regardless.

Cracking dal for 32gb if you are in an area with excellent coverage you could use in a 4g router and ditch the home phone line and broadband. Not sure if the 30 day account offers the double speed 4g and if there is any allowance to use data abroad.
Any help on this would be appreciated.

preecey

Yes

Thanks!

Has anyone tried anything like this sim for home broadband? Thinking it could be cheaper /month and faster than my current broadband?

It appears to offer their fastest 4G, yes

Wonder if it will work in a tablet?

They all do this now, and before it was in their T&Cs, it's usually no more than 3% so for all intents, insignificant.

Yes it will.

That is a brilliant idea I am trying to get rid of my virgin this would be so much better, although its a capped DL amount.

Actually beware. Most (I did say most) dual SIM handsets are designed for the Asia markets so you may not have UK LTE bands support and then 4G won't work or at least may be reduced. Without specifying the handset and doing your research to check, no one can be 100% sure it will work without issue.

I'm being told by EE that this won't work in a phone even as a second SIM - so now I'm confused

It's a Wileyfox Swift

Can I switch my existing data contract to this or do I need to cancel it and take this out as a new one?

As long as you're confident you use less than 32GB a month using your home broadband, this could be right up your street.
It most likely will be faster than your current home broadband, especially if you currently use normal ADSL broadband. Speeds with EE can often reach around 100Mbps, but usually around the 50Mbps mark, which is plenty fast enough.

The only thing I wouldn't recommend mobile broadband for is gaming, because the latency would be higher than standard fixed line connections.

Wow this is amazing so how does this compare to my fiber?? Can I game on it? Stream movies?

Is this half price every month or just the first month.

great deal but ee really annoy me now. been a customer for years on multiple 12m data sim and called to get a better deal 5 days ago due to end of contract, offered this package for £17.50 and said that is the best they could ever do on a 12m deal - now they have it cheaper on a 30 day plan! still glad i went with the bt offer!

It will, they're confused.

Most dual SIM phones (actually almost all) give you the option to set one slot for 4G/3G/2G, and the other for 2G only. My Honor 8 certainly does this. My Three SIM with all you can eat data is in my 4G slot while my TalkTalk Mobile SIM is in my 2G slot for emergencies (such as when in the unlikely event I lose Three coverage I have a Vodafone-based network for calls and texts as a backup).

I used EE's 200GB per month offer last year in a Mi-Fi for home broadband. Got up to 78Mbps.
That offer wasn't recurring, so after two months, we had to switch, but it was fine for surfing, videos etc.

link not working
sorted from tablet, thank you

You can certainly stream movies using this, but as a general rule I don't recommend 4G mobile broadband for gaming due to the higher latency. Standard home broadband that is working properly has a latency (or ping) of 10-20ms. Mobile broadband ping times are in the region of 50-60ms.

EE customer service chat

Me: Hi, I'm looking at the EE 4G Multi SIM on a 30 day plan and have a few questions. Does this just keep going until I cancel it? If I have a voucher code will it remain applied for the duration of my contract or just the first month? What notice would I need to give to cancel my contract? Also, do I get a 14 day cooling off period to decide if I want this?
Steven: Hi.
Steven: Yes, that's correct it would stay until you cancel it.
Steven: And you are not tied with us so you can end the contract anytime by giving a 30 days notice to our Customer services on 07953 966 250.
Steven: You will get 14 days cooling off period as well.
Me: So any discount applied by a code will remain for the duration of the contract until I cancel it?
Steven: That's correct.
Steven: And since the data is capped on EE, you need not worry of going above the data allowance.

Looks like double speed and 100mb per month in EU.

It can work as the first SIM, as that is the only one that has 4G, and use second SIM for calls and texts.

https://media3.giphy.com/media/xT5LMPMM9ohBpKfF5u/giphy.gif

anyone getting a gear s3 LTE version this is perfect as you can use WhatsApp calls etc don't obviously mins and texts would be great but i don't mind improvising at this price for this amount of data.

Interested in this but was wondering if I can add talk and texts to this.

flashjmp

Can I game on it?

I wouldn't latency and jitter would be terrible.

flashjmp

Stream movies?

Sure knock yourself out.
