It's a decent monitor, response times are very slow though and has issues with dead pixels.

From a cold start everything is a blurry mess, give it 20 minutes to warm up or set a game off to half that time and the response times settle to around 10ms on average. Still far better than the 40-50ms on a £2k MacBook.

The sRGB mode is poor on this model, which is unusual for Acer. However novideo_sRGB app for Nvidia GPU users fixes it by locking it into sRGB anyway. Proven to be very accurate, and uses a setting built into Nvidia Control Panel but for some reason hidden by default.

AMD users also have a colour accuracy mode available in their driver/app, and I highly encourage most people to use it if your monitor doesn't have a very good colour calibrated mode.

I know a lot of people just assume calibration is for professionals, but the most popular smartphone is the iPhone, and that is calibrated very well. Everything looks right AND looks good. Colour temperature will always be more personal, which can be adjusted with the RGB sliders on your monitor itself.

Really nice monitor, but I'm having the worst time with acer support.
I had to send my monitor in for repair because the bezel was coming unstuck.
I sent it to them in like new condition and received it back with scratches, digs, and glue over it.
I complained and they told me to send it back, which I did. This time, it came back with more scratches,
random screws stuck to the back and now won't turn on at all. I've just sent it back for the 3rd time.
I'm not holding out much hope on how I'll receive it this time. I won't buy another Acer product after this. (edited)
