This is no Ooni or ooni equivalent. It doesn’t get to the temp required in the proper timeframe. Avoid it. Keep your money and save up for an ooni clone

You get the pizza oven that sits on the grill part of any decent size bbq grill. You don’t get the actual bbq. So a steel box about the size of a standard kitchen drawer complete with pizza stone, thermometer I think, etc.. the picture shows it on a silver bbq with two black side handles - this bit isn’t included and the pizza oven does nothing without an external heat source. Hope this helps.

I got one last year, tried sitting it on the gas and coal sides of my BBQ, even blocked the sides with fire bricks so heat could not escape up the sides. Whatever I tried I couldn't cook a decent pizza with this :-(

These are utterly utterly terrible. Do not waste your money.

Takes ages to cook, cooks inconsistently and the finished product isn’t even that good!

35 quid in my local. Price on sticker was 39.99.

This is in Blakenhall Wolverhampton store. Plenty left...

I got one of these last year. They’re awful imo! It just heats from the bottom, and because i couldnt close the lid of the bbq, it just ended up burning the bottom of the pizza and left the top uncooked! Theres no way for the heat to get up and circulate around the oven.

My pizza oven gets up to 800f+ designed for a pellet grill & was £100 cheaper than the cheapest Ooni, and will probably go even higher once properly modded. This one posted here won't, but a well designed one for a grill can and does

Voted cold. Aldi in general not to my taste. Why are there so many Aldi deals on here?

I will only shop at Waitrose

It looks like it’s just the pizza oven and it’s designed to sit on your own BBQ. Not sure why everyone is been arsy 🏻

Looks like a cheap Ooni, and that's where it ends. Having an Ooni and knowing how it works, there is no way this can give you decent pizza. The heat is only from the bottom, it's not capturing the heat to get up to a good temperature, and it's missing the all-important flame over the top of the food that gives you the flame-cooked finish.

If I shut the lid on my bbq to keep heat in would that work?

Probably not with this one, any BBQ oven is going to struggle on a charcoal grill, would look into a SNS (Slow n Sear set up) is the best way I've seen to make a good looking pizza on a decent kettle grill. But will cost considerably more than this.

I've got one, It's rubbish, takes ages to get up to temperature and you have to keep the bbq lid closed for it to get even close and then the temperature drops as soon as you open the lid and it really doesn't cook a pizza well.
Better off just using the pizza stone on the bbq with the lid closed !!

You can buy mine if you really want one but i would advise against it !

My bbq is gas if it makes a difference

No these are not great but during the pandemic it was fun and actually with a really thin base it made some good pizza. I won't use it any longer though and like others I will probably save up for something better. The reason being the amount of gas required to be running 100% in a BBQ to get this to any sort of usable heat inside. It's probably cheaper to buy a shop made pizza then pay for the gas these days
