Anyone worried about poking their finger through, the following trick came to me on a campsite when I was running low.

Take two sheets, and rotate one of them 90 degrees. Wipe freely. What this does is cross the grain on the paper, increasing the tearing force considerably. You can gouge away with confidence. I can't quite work out if angling the pair of sheet on a diagonal to the bumhole would provide further confidence, I think it might.
    charlton111's avatar
Ah the old argument horizontal vs diagonal, could any one who's bought please update, also information on how much prussure you can use till brown finger nails would be very much appreciated, no jokes honest replies please, some of us take this seriously

Sorry the reviews are not good at all however for the price can you get better

If anyone has Costco membership, you can buy Costco 40 for £14 in store. They are 3-ply, and they are absolutely amazing. Like you really don’t need to use as much roll as some another 3-ply I bough from normal supermarkets, and it always lasts for so long. I understand that it’s a little dearer, but after the disappointment in quality of some 2-ply rolls I purchased from Groupon, I swore I’d never deviate from Costco rolls again

£10.36 with max s&s, I use them. No need for anything more than 2 ply.
    newbie68's avatar
If you have bought them before you don't get the voucher. Same price for me with max S&S being a previous buyer

Bought loads the last time it was on here. I'm not particularly bothered about high quality toilet paper but this stuff is not good whatsoever.

It's some way below supermarket own brand. Acceptable if you're not bothered by poor quality and can get it much cheaper than this.

Grab 2 sheets, fold twice, then fling that 5hit (No pun intended).

Repeat if necessary, then rinse with bidet, then dry with an additional 2 sheets.

    Jobs a goodun.

    Replying to

I like to remove as much with a dry hand first before getting it wet. If you go all out water without tissue like in many other countries in the other side of the world, you would've wished you had tissue paper. Worst than 'Chocolity Moose'

These are horrible. I can't imagine how people can use these if you don't wash with water afterwards. There's tons of microbits. I've tried to be as gentle as possible, but there's still tissue bits leftover

So you don't know how to fold up a paper? Does anybody really use a single layer even with the 4ply toilet paper?

Regular user of this loo roll here, never had a finger go through or blocked drains. Heat added OP
    tma32's avatar
Yes same here, been using presto for over 12 months and not a problem
  10. foxmeister's avatar
You’ll need short finger nails …
  11. charlton111's avatar
Few reviews mentioned they don't break up and block the drains

Get Wilco or Nicky from home bargain I think 32-36 for £7. Good quality as well.
    snapdragon's avatar
Nicky Elite specifically I would aver.
  13. ramkmr's avatar

  15. AM700's avatar
By my calculations you need to buy at least 20 of these to save the necessary money for the plumber.

    How?😁
  17. foxmeister's avatar
Can anyone remember the toilet paper approx 30 year ago that was generally found at public swimming baths and can only be described as tracing paper?! No absorbtion just smearing !!!
    1616french's avatar
It was like wiping your hoop with sandpaper.
We had it at schools too.😁
  18. samspud's avatar
Just get on Nicky.... The toilet paper that is
    CynicalNurse's avatar
Not letting Nicky anywhere near my bum again, not making that mistake.

    Ordered thanks OP.
  20. kkwiatkowski's avatar
I'll get it for the kids as they overuse the toilet paper regardless which toilet paper I buy.

I'll stick with the Costco ones for myself and the missus...

    Good deal nevertheless, cheers
    yahoohx's avatar
Is Kirkland Signature Triple Satin the one you are referring to as Costco ones?
  21. Tony_DR's avatar
Who uses 2 ply apart from public toilets and schools. No thanks.
  22. timboslicey's avatar
honestly, this place sometimes. so are they terrible or brilliant quality!
    kkwiatkowski's avatar
    Pretty bad...
  23. PizzaTheHutt's avatar
Ply isn't everything, I've had 2 ply toilet paper that was as strong and felt thick if not more than 3 ply. Dont know about these tho
    dberrypro's avatar
I am a ply expert and I disagree. Ply is everything.

I've been buying these for a while, they are good value for money. Similar quality to the supermarket own brands and cheaper!

  30. LaurenceGough's avatar

  36. Tootles77's avatar
Hmm no voucher shows for me on this :/ . Is it account specific, never bought this before. Would it be as I took the earlier deal on a voucher for kitchen roll? Although hadn't had that issue before.
  37. George_Faulkner's avatar
Homebargains is three ply and cheaper
  38. Optom's avatar
Good price but uf it's it poop quality then false economy.
Minimum quality I compare to is Nicky elite.
Costco ones are the best. Fewer sheets are needed.
Anyone shed light on the quality Vs Nicky/Costco
  39. jase_burton's avatar
I had the £5 off voucher aswell so ended up with 90 rolls for £15 😃
