I wouldn't have minded if they left the edit button in on this deal. yes use to be a good site. The rules used to be very easy. if something was allowed or not. Like Ebay deals weren't allowed full stop and nor were amazon market place deals years ago. Now they allow some market place and not others even though fulfilled by Amazon. and they don't tell you the reason. 'just this vendor is now not allowed'. Even online shops that had deals 6 months ago are now not allowed. It really is pot luck if it gets posted, as the goal posts are constantly moving left right and centre..

It's been getting worse each year it's not the place i once knew and i have been here from the start. This would have been a hot deal for £1.50 but alas.

22p per 100 sheets, for 2 ply. Not sure that's all that good, unless I'm missing something.

I bought these years ago thinking they'd be the same as UK andrex and therefore a bargain, couldn't have been more wrong. They're shorter and about half the width. False economy, I'd never buy again

The fine to flush standard has been around now for 2 years and was approved by all the water companies but very few manufactures are willing to change their wipes to meet the requirement probably because of cost. https://www.water.org.uk/policy-topics/managing-sewage-and-drainage/fine-to-flush/

Interesting. I’ve just checked the Asda ones and they have the word Flushable on there three times. Disconcerting to hear that this is not indicative of their actual properties.

Their not flushable unless they have the fine to flush symbol on them and their are currently only a couple of wipes that are. Andrex ones are certified as being fine to flush as they changed the wipes material and strength so that they break down as soon as they are flushed. If Asda & Wilko we're that confident in their wipes being flushable they would have paid the £8000 for the wipes to be tested and certified as being so.

They only updated the packaging this year so product pictures on Amazon probably haven't been updated. £10.98 for 48 rolls of Aldi best, why would I want to pay anymore for wiping my butt, this is definitely throwing money down the drain, even if it keeps your rusty sheriffs badge nice and soft and clean 😁 (lol)

Toilet paper coming all the way from Portugal is an environmental disaster

I've been buying this stuff for a couple of years. It's Portuguese, often goes out of stock very quickly because it really is that good and is normally around this price on Amazon when you can get it. One thing to note is that the sheets are not as wide as our standard toilet paper, which some people find as a negative. I just think it's less wasteful. Unless they change the quality of this product for the worse in future I will never buy any other so take a punt on this loo roll and I don't think you'll regret it.

140 sheets per roll? Are they on a wind-up?

Ironically, going forward, there will be less need for toilet paper with the impending food shortages we will be facing.

When our drain was blocked the water guy said they get lots of blockages from biodegradable wipes and 3/4 ply bog roll! Just saying.
