Decent little app which could well help you if you get lost abroad etc and want to avoid expensive mobile data charges... The premium version is more comprehensive compared to the pro app, so it is recommended that you utilise the premium version.
Steps to get the free pro or premium version:
1) Download the standard version of the app from the Google Play Store
2) Open the app. From the menu, select "Redeem a code"
3) Enter the code PROSUPP (for pro version) or PREMSUPP (for premium version - credit & ) - you must manually enter these codes, do not copy and paste!
4) You should now have pro access to the app for free

How is this compared to just using Google maps. I usually download areas I need on Google maps so they work offline
You can also download particular areas of Google Maps for offline use...

Here's a link on how to download offline google maps. I usually just download the area where I'm heading to before going on hols.
You can then delete the maps after your holidays to save space.

They repeat this offer every so often. From what I can tell, downloading Google maps before you go is just as good if not better. Be mindful that just like 'free' google apps, if you are not paying then YOU are the product. £1 to a penny bets that the app will require you to agree to a load of permissions.
Works for ios as well 😁. Buy on android and use code and then register for a profile. Now download the ios free app and login and you have pro after your profile is logged in.

Looks like it works...select the "Redeem Code" at the bottom left. And manually enter the code.

Is this actually a decent app, nobody knows, but it's free so people are jumping all over it...

What is it for?
Thanks it worked but I fail to see any benefit of this app over Google Maps?? Its literally just a map, no navigation of any sort, you cant search by post code or even street address, really bizarre to be honest. Or maybe i am missing something.

Still did not get how to make this map works... Nowhere to put destination and go kind of button :/ :/ :/ :/
Downloading, adding the codes and then deleting to save/use for when you actually need definitely removes the codes and you loose the pro/premium versions.
Had a good look at this and done quite a few searches .
And it's pretty crap .
Google is far more superior and has better information.

Installed this last time it was on offer. Uninstalled it after my phone kept warning me about high battery usage even when I hadn't started the app since the last reboot

The best thing for me about this map is that it shows all pathways in the woods and fields so when I'm Out for a walk it's really good for route planning .
