I wanted to get Animal Crossing, and I read in the other lowest priced deal (£24 online) that there is a £5 off code at Argos in this months Official Nintendo Magazine. I downloaded this as an e-magazine for £2,99 to get the voucher. I'll attach this below.

This would make £24.99 cheapest in-store price, but the voucher knocks off £7.50 making it only £22.49. All the staff need to do is enter 'animal5' if you can't see, but the picture can be printed and taken in just tell them its from the magazine.

Hope this helps someone, thanks to allgonewrong for telling me the voucher at Argos

The magazine is available as both phsyical, and an e-magazine. I did it from the e-magazine. There is no way you could provide them the voucher without printing it off, hence it looking like a photocopy and I think you could explain that to anyone. Or easily say you wouldnt want to rip your magazine. It might be a bit hit and miss but I think you'd need to be very unlucky not to get it.

That's a good deal but i used Flubit and they came back yesterday with an online deal of £21.32 with postage included. That way you don't need to go in-store or anything.

Can confirm this works with absolutely no problems. I did mention right away how it was an e-mag and the print off was the best I could do(to avoid an dodgy looks)

So just to understand this correctly. I have reserved one at my local store, so all I do is take the print out from the 'link you' provided and when at the till it will take £7.50 off? Or do I have to tell the staff they enter animal 5?

Why do you say that? I paid £22 on Flubit as a pre-order and received it on release day. It also came with the pre-order bonus.

The quote it came back with was for 2-3 days handling then 3-5 days shippings. Said it would be week after next ETA. I assume it depends on supplier they choose ?

Not sure if this will work for everyone as our Argos didn't even stock the game when we went to buy it on release.

The trouble is the top bit of the voucher hasn't saved/scanned correctly - I think this would make them question it.
I get your point about having to print, but no doubt your original one (download) isn't blurred on the top 25% of it when printed.

did exactly as SgtSlay3r said and it worked, they did give the voucher a funny look initially but they shrugged it off

I can confirm that this works - I didn't need proof, just asked them to enter the animal5 code and they were happy to sell it for £22.49.

    Many thanks OP

I bought a physical copy of the magazine for £4.50 for the game guide, although the girl on checkout didn't initially know how to discount it, it worked.
she said they don't get many vouchers like that so I'm pretty sure the printout would have worked, had my printer been working. she did want to keep the voucher for reference though.

Yeah when i went they had a list of their internal vouchers, and this wasn't on there thats why I just advised them to enter the animal5 code as there wasnt a barcode. Pleased its worked for you
