Quite a good deal I think.

I couldn't find a cheaper 60w power bank from a reputable company. Here it comes with a 65w charger, usb cable and traveling pouch.

Great deal! Anyone tried one of these with a Macbook and found it works okay?

I’ve used it with a similar spec windows laptop and a surface Pro and it charges fine whilst using. Only get about one charge out of it though, but useful on the go with no sockets available.

I have this and it’s excellent. Kept my steam deck charged and charged an iPad and a topped up a couple of phones on a long haul flight to China in the summer. Meant I could put a good 8 hours or so into Dave the Diver on the flight

Its an older 2020 model (2 iterations back from what I can ascertain) but great bundle price as reduced £10 from last time I checked.

Shame the bundled charger isn't twin port as that would make it more versatile but hey given the price you cant have everything (edited)

Voted hot! This is a good and realistic price. A decent brand power bank of such specs is about £40 with some luck, a good brand 65w charger is about £25-30. Good deal!

Am I right in thinking this is suitable for a Steam Deck?

edit: I've checked the Amazon reviews and people are saying they get 2-3 charges for the Steam Deck (edited)

Sorry for the noob question, but is this power bank PD? I wonder if it can charge a surface pro 5... if anyone has info on that it would be much appreciated
    Dodge62's avatar
Yes. As in the heading "65W PD".

Please don't use 65W devices with 60W chargers - I know PD is technically a safe handshake but from my experience some devices can heat up quite considerably. (edited)

USB-C has a handshake that tells the charging device how much wattage it can support and then the charger only delivers that much. You can charge a 5w e-cig with one of these without incident. USB-C is basically magic at this point

Voted hot. My laptop can charge via USB-C, but the manual says "if using a power bank, make sure it complies with USB-C PD standard specification (20V/65W - 20V/100W)." Am I right in saying that though the charger is 65W rated, the power bank itself can only support 60W and may not have PD (but states that it's 'compatible')? Is it a bad idea to use a lower W power bank - I imagine the bank itself may run hot, depending on how it's engineered, but is there any risk to the laptop?
