sorted byOh no it doesn't, MPRT is nothing but a marketing scam. It uses backlight strobing so looks awful AND gives you a headache.
The real response time of this monitor is 4ms GTG (which isn't awful), but you'll still get some motion blur/Black smearing (to be expected with a cheap VA monitor).
250 nits brightness is a bit on the low side, you won't want to use it in a well lit room (add to that AOC monitors have a habit off coming in UNDER the stated brightness).
Still, a decent monitor for the money for those that aren't as fussy as me. (edited)
i have the AOC Gaming CQ27G2U. (not quite the same as the deal) ive had it about 2 years now and its amazing.
the title specs of the monitor and whats written in the product info on the amazon pace are very different.
so i would look into what info is correct. one says 155hz, 2560x1440...
the product info says 144hz, 1920x1080
i would guess that the latter info at 1920x1080 ,144hz is correct.
Here is the same monitor at laptops direct who says the titles specification instead.

People complain about IPS glow, but ghosting/Black smearing on most VA panels is far more annoying.
Well, it is to me.
Colour accuracy is hit and miss with them too.
I can't stand using anything but IPS (at least until OLED gaming monitors are a reasonable price, I might be waiting a while, lol).
These still serve a purpose though, for those on a lower budget or aren't as fussy as some of us.
