A bit questionable calling this a "gaming" monitor with its 60Hz refresh rate but otherwise seems to be pretty decent specs for the price.

It seems Asus are targeting console gamers with this, hence the size, speakers & included remote control.

  • VA Panel
  • 3x HDMI 2.0, 1x DisplayPort 1.2
  • High Dynamic Range (HDR) technology with DCI-P3 95% professional colour gamut delivers contrast and colour performance that meets the DisplayHDR 600 certification.
  • GameFast Input technology minimises input lag and provides much faster motion delivery from connected devices to the monitor
  • Console-friendly design features include remote control for adjusting brightness, changing the input and controlling other functions from a distance, and a stand with a built-in USB hub for easier controller charging
  • 31.5” 4K (3840 x 2160) HDR console-gaming monitor with AMD Radeon FreeSync for Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.
  • Halo Sync provides bias lighting (ambient light) to extend the display and reduce glare in high-contrast scenes, matching the on-screen colours to fill your field of vision.

This mentions that it was £750 on release 3 years ago, so a much better price here! (edited)

Yep, 'console gaming monitor' seems a stretch. Last gen console monitor basically

would not touch an asus monitor, last one we had lasted just over a month.asus used the old impact damage line despite no external marks of any kind.

Mine arrived, the Box is gargantuan.

Can't find a definitive answer on its comparability with Vesa mounts, so might be going back

Took a punt at the price, and will need to shift on my old EX3203R
