If you have a usb C monitor with hubs you can pretty much treat it like a desktop PC when you dock.

Otherwise it'll be great for some legacy games such as mass effect 1/2/3, or the upcoming diablo 4. JRPGs should run well on it as well.

When you factor the (much) cheaper cost of games/ software in the PC ecosystem I think it can coexist with my Switch OLED.

TBH, it's a nice piece of windows (perhaps linux in the future?) hardware and is quite versatile in the hands of the capable. I just wish it has USB4! (edited)

Hi all, what's the best way I can maximise the discount on the product, i have both student and blue light card.

- 10% Complete Saving

=£559.20 or 566.19 (if 10% is added on after the first discount)

Can I get vouchers (at a discount) - I've checked Perks at Work/bluelight and I think I can get 4.5% off on vouchers and use that to pay for this for further discount, tho not sure if it'll impact the complete savings discount. Any help is much appreciated.

The spec on this machine is good, reviewers have complained about battery life though, not sure if this will improve on release.

For those comparing the price to the steam deck, you need to be mindful that this is a higher spec and the Steam deck is being sold at cost or a loss. They can recoup money from selling games from their store, this device can’t do that.

Think it's clear that early reviews really killed the enthusiasm for this. It looks like the new firmware has fixed most of the issues but the reviews in the wild are all on pre launch software and that's what people will see. I think we'll see some good discounts down the road.
