Created with a powerful AMD Ryzen 7 processor, 16GB RAM, a vibrant 15.6" Full HD display, and GeForce RTX 3050 GPU, the ASUS Vivobook Pro laptop will enable you to finish your daily computing tasks with ease, as well as enabling you to crank up the settings whilst playing the latest gaming titles.
Keep in contact
Thanks to its onboard HD camera and array microphone, the ASUS Vivobook Pro 15, once connected to Wi-Fi, will let you take part in video chats or virtual meetings, enabling the fun or the office to come to you.

AMD Ryzen 7 processor2
The AMD Ryzen 7 processor in this laptop lets you flex your creative muscles. You won't have any problems running demanding software, and power-hungry programs like image manipulation and video editing will work like a dream.

Streaming, rendering and 4K video editing will all be a cinch thanks to its 8-core and 16-thread design, and you can expect games to run with sharp graphics and silky-smooth frame rates.

What is RAM?
RAM (Random Access Memory) is different to the permanent storage provided by hard disk drives (HDD), solid-state drives (SSD) or memory cards in your equipment. RAM is used by your device to temporarily store data to carry out everyday operations. The more RAM your machine has, the faster you can expect it to open and run programs.

Impressive performance
Featuring 16GB of RAM, this computer is comfortable running lots of complex tasks at once, and you won't see any obvious lag or slowdown.

Solid state drive
Solid-state drives (SSD) give you the capacity to store your documents and media, while ensuring quicker and reliable access to your files and programs. SSDs are far faster than regular hard drives and ingeniously, they don't use moving parts to work, which makes them far more dependable and also quieter.

Great graphics
NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 3050 graphics processing unit will provide next-gen gaming performance, thanks to enhanced 2nd generation Ray Tracing Cores and 3rd generation Tensor Cores. You’ll be able to play all the latest titles without worrying about the settings, whilst providing enough grunt for you to enjoy smooth, quality VR experiences (VR headset sold separately). The GeForce RTX 3050 is DirectX 12 Ultimate compatible.

DirectX 12
DirectX 12 provides you with amazingly fast performance by simultaneously utilizing all the cores of your multicore CPU. It also raises the number of processes that can be sent to your graphics card, so computations are completed quicker - meaning your games play better.

Immersive entertainment
This Vivobook Pro 15 features a vibrant full HD display. Media like videos and photos will appear detailed and lifelike, whilst speakers featuring Harman Kardon technology will ensure you receive a great multimedia experience.

Connecting your other devices
The USB ports allow for fast data transfer, whilst the HDMI port enables the option for dual-screen working (just connect a previously purchased monitor, and then press the Windows button + P to select). The SD card slot offers a convenient way to upload your photos and videos. Bluetooth can help to send data wirelessly between devices.

We can help you get set up

What's the battery life like on this? I imagine with a 2K screen and dedicated graphics card that it zaps the power quickly

The basic version without GPU can do 9 hours of web browsing with the screen at reduced brightness

Well John Lewis price match and give the extra warranty plus quality service. I’m not going to micro-analyse the specifications but this is a solid machine in my book 💪 there’s several other ASUS deals with great comments to help guide you (edited)

Misleading Contradicting Specs on the John Lewis Site!

Can anyone confirm can the laptop be charged via usb-c port or you have to carry the power brick with you?
    7913249082's avatar
    7913249082
USB charging still requires a power brick. The brick rectifies AC to DC and adjusts the voltage.

Misleading, oled with 400nits is pointless. You need over 1000nit for HDR

Nice find, decent spec and build quality, 1080p screen is okay but might look a bit pixelated with text on this screen size.
