Not a big fan of Lenovo they tend to break easy and drivers stop working too often

Have you owned a Thinkpad before or are you comparing against their consumer grade gear? This is a enterprise grade laptop not a consumer model, so built with more robustly to last in the more demanding business use cases.

    PSref for this model here.

1080p screen as standard. No upgrade route for the RAM as all soldered.

This is my actual current work laptop. Been running 50 hours a week since before the pandemic began and still going strong as are most of the other 3000 in our organisation.

It uses a square power connector according to Laptop Mag: -
"The X380's ports are a mixed bag. There's a mini Ethernet port, which requires you to buy a dongle to use with wired internet. That port on the left side of the computer is joined by a power jack, and while many of Lenovo's other laptops are powered over USB Type-C, this one still uses a bulky, square power-adapter plug."

Great little laptops.. the L380 has ram slots so you can upgrade them to 16gb.
Very strange as the X380 is a better quality build but has soldered ram & no room for upgrade.
