AVF's Against the Wall Standing TV Mount is quicker to install than a regular wall mount, with easy to follow instructions and securing with a single wall anchor for extra peace of mind. This non-permanent solution will secure your TV at a comfortable viewing height while easily hiding cables behind the upright column.

With no need to fix to a wall stud you’re free to position your screen anywhere against a wall alone, or against a wall discreetly behind furniture for the look you desire.

Requiring just a single screw in the wall, this is the ideal solution for rental properties and gives you extra flexiblity if you decide to move home, redecorate or if you just want to move your TV.

With three different height settings, smaller screens can benefit from a higher position whereas larger TVs can be set lower to ensure an eye-level screen centre for seated viewers.

Features:

  • Quick & easy to install and hides unsightly cables
  • Position against a wall alone or behind furniture for the look you desire
  • Adjustable tilt & screen levelling features
  • 3 TV height settings (121 / 127.8 / 134.6cm to centre of TV Mount)
  • For TVs up to 80" or 60kg

I think this is fine for those that have very little option.
Some rooms just aren't built for having a bigger stand, such as my own bedroom. I discussed this before with a 3 legged version, where built in wardrobes dominated the room, to a point that you could only get a TV in there if it was on something that took up very little space, freestanding away from a wall.

I won't leave you in suspense... when we moved in, the old owners took the wardrobes with them, when they shouldn't have Did moan, but it solved that problem, at least.

These will be good in spaces where you can't or don't want to wall mount too. To my eye, they're not ugly looking, just different. The max weight cap at 60kg is fair as well. There are cheaper alternatives out there, with less capacity and for me... don't look as smart as these.

If you're exploring options and this is one of the only viable ones for you... I'd say it was a good buy.

I think is overpriced but for 100£ I think they will have a nice support if my TV smash the floor

So still need at least one screw in the wall apparently, this may defeat the purpose for my needs as I may aswell just wall mount the TV if Im going to damage the wall anyway

I’d guess the screw’s there to support it from toppling over.

Should get this on the wall or closer to it

This really is a viable alternative to channelling your wall to hide cables. We recently wallpapered the wall it's on and matched some paper and put it on the visible part of the stand, and it's pretty much invisible now.

    Quite a clever solution tbh.

What a good idea. My old Farmhouse is built from stonework 450mm thick therefore all wall mounted Tv's have a safty strap connecting them to floor or roof timber members in case of detachment. I like this, thanks OP. HOT. Oh! It still needs a restraining screw. (edited)
