I expect this to go cold as in fairness the RRP is pretty outrageous, BUT, £68 with code EYELOVE is a great price and the cheapest I can find for the W0879s

Of course it is. That's why sunglasses sold in supermarkets that are labeled with UV protection stickers are just there for show.
Fair enough though. Carry on being a mug.

If I lived in a country that required sunglasses for more than 2 weeks a year, I'd invest in decent ones but as it is, cheap knock offs all the way for me.

I suppose it's inevitable that a post for a pair of designer sunglasses will attract the fashion poilce. In my mind it's all about what type of sunglasses suit a particular face shape, in my case the avaitor is timeless.

Ridiculous comment. Sunglasses look good due to face shape, not fashion.

Actually, if you read the latest Glamour and Grazia magazine I think you'll find they are very 'on trend' this season.

i've just checked with ray ban via there live chat, and this is what they have said..Unfortunately, we do not have them in our database as an official stocktist, you would have to contact Luxottica, owner of Ray-Ban brand to confirm that they are genuine raybans''
they have given me a email address of consumerservices@uk.luxottica.com, which i have emailed to check otherwise im cancelling mine sharpish.

I could be wrong, but I think the title is a deceptive here.

Whilst the High Street RRP might be £125, these are actually selling for £78 before using the code. The EYELOVE code brings these down by £10 to £68. So this is actually just a saving of £10 (which isn't bad) and not a saving of £57 that I first (wrongly) thought.

The £10 off applies to any pair, but the pair that the OP is referring to is the "Ray-Ban Aviator RB3025".

well ive just had a chat on the live chat system they have increased the price by £5 for the aviators...

Unfortunately the code "EYELOVE" wasn't meant to be working for orders under £100 (this was miscommunication between u and HUKD) instead of blocking the code we have increased the price by £5.

i wasnt using a code so i dont know what they mean..

Protection I guess. Perhaps build quality as well, I've had my aviators for 7 years so far and still good as new!

You could be right, what I will say is that any "deception" was not intentional.

If you were looking to buy the same pair from Ray-Bans or anywhere at RRP you would still be saving the £57. If you were looking to buy from Fashion Eyewear anyway the saving is £10...

I'm not fussed how the post is described if i'm honest. I'm just sharing a good price for a good pair of sunglasses.

When you learn to cut out all the silly little purchases you don't need (ironic saying that on this site haha), its becomes much, much easier to afford the things you really want. £150 for sunglasses which will last me the next 10-15 years is worth the cost in my opinion. Buy a new pair of sunnies each year for a tenner and you are spending that much over the same life cycle.

i had some in my basket and the price has gone up from £78 to £82 now because the site was down i dont like companies that do that.

No point having Wayfarers done with prescription lenses. The replacement prescription lenses won`t carry the RayBan logo.
