I enjoy this.. usually costs around 3.50 from Sainsbury's. If you want something with more crunch and similar to chicken fillet try I think it's VFC Chick*n fillets. Taste amazing

    Will second the VFC recommendation.

whilst i am totally on board with the ethical side of vegan / vegetarianism looking at those ingredients i can't help but wonder if it is leading to another generation hooked on easy but highly processed food
    zeb.mattey's avatar
it'll be a lot healthier than processed meat either way, because of the animal fats being so unhealthy. So its still an improvement

Really like these 'burgers' as a solid meat alternative - good consistency and actually taste good. Heat added.

It’s not though is it, it’s a cruelty free meat alternative and if it’s cheaper and easier more people will try it

I like these, but I always forget to take them out to defrost!

They cook just fine from frozen

anyone tried the moving mountain burgers? they are the best i've tried so far. how do these compare?
    MrDMan's avatar
These are far better in my opinion to the moving mountains. These are the best I have found

I wasn’t quite sure from the listing so just wanted to confirm that this is also in-store and not just delivery.

Maybe that’s obvious but in-store there were no signs for the 5 for 4 deal, though there were yellow cards for the Clubcard prices on individual packs.

The signs aren't individual, there is a stand out sign on each freezer unit.

Is this really the burger used in the Mcplant? I had no idea.

I do like the Mcplant, and therefore this I guess but personally think the Garden Gourmet burgers are far nicer and I picked up a few packs of 2 at £1.75 last week. For me they just have slightly more flavour.
    zeb.mattey's avatar
It tastes a lot better than the mcplant patty ot me

Love these. Especially good if air fried. Bit of Tommy ketchup and onions and it’s perfect,
    Great price too.
