Another good price for authentic Bialetti which can be used on all heat sources. I got mine a couple of weeks back and am loving its coffee.

They seem to like coffee residue in Italy the same way some people in the UK like tea residue in their mugs/teapots. Outside of Italy that grimy buildup is not a thing really, the oil can go rancid when left alone for a bit, the residue itself adds some bitterness. (edited)

Way better than the aluminium ones which get really nasty inside. Makes great coffee, perhaps even better than an Aeropress...but a bit more faff

I bought one of these a few months back. Superb coffee, would highly recommend- much better than an overpriced coffee machine

I've got this and they are really good. I would say that these are great for 30g of coffee in and 2 large servings. Get the smaller one if you're going to use it on your own.

Stainless steel means it works on induction hobs too.

Not necessarily as not all stainless steel is magnetic, I had to replace my stainless steel sauce pans when I moved to a place with an induction hob.

Do you just buy espresso grounds for this or better to grind your own? (edited)

Anyone who has one of these seen the correct seals for sale for the 4 cup version?

Have a 4 cup and 10 cup makes lovely coffee. Make sure you you only use a medium heat on the cooker coffee will taste better.

The original Bialetti's were made from aluminium so will be interesting to see what differences stainless steel make for conduction.

If you got good beans and grind your own these can give you a damn good cup of coffee.

I paid this amount of money for the smallest one, while one in the finding is 6 cups size! Nice.

If I am going to be making one coffee each time can I still use this size or does it need to be filled to work properly?
