blackstar HT amps are great valve amps ..this will go LOUD...but judging from the pics has a built in attenuator to drop the power...still 500 quid but a great discount

Here's what Blackstar say about the HT Club 40 MkII:Equipped with 2 channels and 4 footswitchable voices the HT Club 40 MkII is the ideal gigging valve amp for club sized venues. The 40W EL34 driven power amplifier has groundbreaking clean punch and dynamics with expanded tone controls that will easily cut through in a full band situation. Switching to the amazing ISF equipped overdrive channel accesses a further two modes - 'classic crunch' and 'super saturated lead'. The Power Reduction feature allows further flexibility, by allowing the guitarist to attenuate to 10 percent of the 40 watts of power, also making the HT Club 40 MkII perfect for the home and studio use.

Very tempted by the 6L6 but I’m old and have gone digital and fear it won’t get used.
    Great deal though!

A separate attenuator can be bought these days ...think the cheaper ones are around a £100- £200 quid ?

Never used one but if you like playing valve gear at home they are meant to be very good

Think a lot of YouTubers use them
