RRP - £499.95 but most are selling around £450, Bose have reduced their soundbars and you can stack with the code PEOPLEVALUE10 (or you can get your own code with newsletter sign ups for purchases over £199).

I was in JL having a look at the demo setup and I was tempted by the 900 but the sound of the 600 felt just as good. I ended up pairing with the base module which the code brought down to £359.96. Obviously the base isn't required but if you want to treat yourself..then why not

There was a deal posted recently where it was slightly cheaper, although that was through a seller on eBay so personally I'd prefer to pay the little extra and get from Bose direct - that way you can make use of the 90 day "trial" - so if its not for you, send it back risk free etc - bose.co.uk/en_…tml

Bose kit is v good, not the cheapest of course, but v pleased with bose products I’ve bought to date, highlight is the 900 soundbar, again expensive but v good, add the sub(yes more money) but my word it takes it to a whole new level

I was tempted with the 900, personally during the demo in John Lewis I preferred the 600, the quality of sound, size and price sealed it for me - may change once delivered however I'd hope being paired with the 500 base module will = a solid system that'll tick my boxes....fingers crossed

This is meant to be superb. Quite often gets rated above the Sonos Beam 2.

I had the arc +sub3 and was impressed with this, however they have horrible problems with SkyQ so it went back - appreciate this won’t be as loud, but the quality is there

got to hand it to bose for their marketing......most people seem to think their stuff is 'high end'

personally i've always found their stuff very over rated especially for the money

but hey if people are happy with theirs then it's all good in the hood

Also 3.15% TCB - not guaranteed with use of code etc, but worth a bash.

Still available will 100% consider this. Wonder if someone could answer my question though. I want atmos soundbar to go below my 65 panasonic jz 1500. I'm having a media wall built and the soundbar will sit in its own cut out. I think I know the answer to my question but the bose 600 has upfiring speakers. Are they made null and void if in their own surrounded space? If so does anyone have any experience of the sonos beam in the same set up? I really fancy the bose though.

Yup, if you check the instructions they'll tell you about what space is required around them...Bose are even honest and say, it's better to have it off the wall so the sound can fill the room. I'd say you'd be the same with most soundbars.

I got the 600 in the end, I'm not sure if its the size of my room but it just felt too flat, however this was compared to previously owning an Arc so I was spoiled for sound from that. Ended up sending the 600 back and picked up a 900 which ticks all my boxes. Bose has been painless in the quibble free 90 day return period... good luck!

I got one the other week and the 600 blew me away.
normally I’d steer clear of soundbars over full surround sets but this one is just so well balanced that I’m selling my Sony 5.1 set now. The voice in particular is so clear it’s amazing, for anyone who has issues hearing dialogue this is great.

I’ve ordered the wireless surround speakers to make this fully surround but even without the upward facing speakers already give Dolby Atmos content a much fuller sound stage.

For those who are really fussy, the bass isn’t hugely overwhelming in a room shaking way but it’s good enough for me.you can get their bass enhancer (subwoofer by any other name) which would really make it a full package but I don’t feel I need this.
