    HU - No Red Arrows this year folks

    Unfortunately, due to prior international commitments, The Red Arrows will be absent during the scheduled dates of August 29th to September 1st, 2024

    Whilst it wont make any booking of local accommodation any cheaper you could plan any wider area Hotel or camping booking and time off work. It's something to look forward to.

    Makes me sad. Sunderland up here got canned a few years ago for similar reasons. Almost like it’s an agenda… meanwhile the Spare flies across the Atlantic twice in 48 hours… just saying! 🤷🏻‍♂️ (edited)

    Bournemouth puts on such a great airshow. We've been a few times and agree with the recommendation to use the park and ride service as that's excellent. It's superb to see the Reds appear over the headland so that will be a shame to miss in 2024 but gotta say there's always plenty of amazing displays to see anyway. Beach, ice cream, air displays and Harry Ramsden's. Gert lush! (edited)
