CASIO EDIFICE SOLAR QUARTZ BLACK DIAL STAINLESS STEEL BRACELET MEN’S WATCH EFS-S600D-1A2VUEF

RRP £159 save 43% - £89.99 10% off - £80.99 inc delivery

The Case:This Casio Edifice Solar Watch EFS-S600D-1A2VUEF features a brushed stainless steel case that measures 48mm in diameter. It exhibits a blue fixed bezel that displays a 60-minute scale. At the side of the case there is a screw down crown at 3 o’clock that is protected by a robust crown guard. Surrounding the crown at 2 and 4 o’clock are two push-buttons that provide the wearer with access to the chronograph functions. This timepiece also features sharp angular lugs and sapphire crystal which provides the watch with superlative protection against scratches and shattering.

The Dial:

The black carbon fibre style anaglocial dial has an uncomplicated design that features blue framed three subdials that are present at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock. They each respectively display a 24-hour scale, a 60-minute scale and a 30-minute scale. Around the edge of the dial there are baton-style hour markers that have been filled with a luminescent material so that the dial can be read in the dark. Extending out from the centre of the dial is a luminescent handset. At the outermost edge of the dial there is a chapter ring that exhibits a 60-minute scale. Between the 4 and 5 o’clock marker there is a date display window and the Casio edifice logo.

The Bracelet:

The 3-link style bracelet is made out of stainless steel and it features a combination of brushed and polished finishes. The bracelet fastens through the use fold over deployment clasp.

The Functions:

This timepiece is powered by solar quartz mechanisms, which provides it with an accuracy of +/- 20 seconds per month. It also features a neo-display, a stopwatch function, a battery level indicator and a water resistance of 100 metres, which means that it can be worn when snorkeling.

Are these being sold as seconds due to the spelling mistake of the word powered on the dial? I've just purchased the black version and it had the very same mistake?

Seems to be a Casio thing as this is present on their own site...

It took me ages to find that error, I couldn’t find it without you lot highlighting it.
I must say, it wouldn’t stop me buying it though. Quite a flash looking watch for the money.
I can imagine a person looking at that and thinking ‘he’s got money’, only to see me trundle off later to my old ford transit.

The Ford Transit is why you have money for the watch

@Wear_The_Fox_Hat there’s been two recent deals on here for the watch, both from H Samual and I don’t think there’s been other reports/complaints on that front
     when I’ve very briefly looked

Just strange, that the word powered is misspelt only on this model in black and blue? I know you can barely see it but it's making me think that Casio is selling them off cheap because of this mistake?

I have the rubber strap version. 2 years of wearing daily in all tasks from work-> DIY->Sport->meals out. Fantastic watch for all occasions, hasn't missed a beat and still in excellent condition. I'd highly recommend.
