On electricity alone for heating, you're talking £30-40 a month in the Summer and double that in the Winter, plus chemicals. Dirty sex ponds aren't cheap to run! (edited)

We brought a mspa hot tub from Lidl last year ....cost us about £5 a month extra on the electric bill (we have it set at 34 all the time and turn it up when we want it ) and chemicals we just use a floating dispenser for the chlorine tablets which cost between £15 and £20 and they last the year ....hope it helps

Could someone give me some advice with the running costs and maintenance …Could someone give me some advice with the running costs and maintenance of hot tubs ? Wanting to possibly buy one Thanks

It depends entirely on how much you run it. Obviously to have it on all month I believe is about £40 for electricity in the summer but of course if you turn it on for a week its 1/4 of that

Lots of bad feedback on these regarding the pump noise and filter issues but usually happens in 1st 24 hours. Link here

How much noise do these things make when running. No rude answers please …How much noise do these things make when running. No rude answers please

I brought this one and it’s quiet with the filter on. Found it less noisy than a lazy spa when jets on because the pump is enclosed in the tub rather than stand alone. Also only £300 from JD Williams
I’ve been more than happy with mine despite some poor reviews also much cheaper than lazy spa. Heats well and stays warm. Used dissolvable Chlorine crystal which are so easy and wash filter after use and change it every month. Would recommend based on no issues for me. (edited)

If you turn it off completely and just turn it on when you want it it will cost you a fortune to run .......keep it at ambient temperature and it will cost less .......

I looked into this on a few Facebook groups, depends on how hot you have it , insulated but generally £40 per month , quite a bit

I've read only bad things about the cleverspa, I would think twice. They dont seem to have great customer support to. Lazy Spas seem to be the way to go although finding one available this year seems unrealistic, just no stock available anywhere.
