Got one of these, great flask. Weird criticism for me is that it keeps my hot drink too hot. Put it in the car before my couple hour commute and I can barely have a sip before an hour has passed. Obviously you can take the lid off to help it cool quicker but that kinda defeats the object. Definitely does the job though

Add a little cold water - make ready to drink, great flask and maintains a drinkable brew for hours.

We have 4 of these. Ultra reliable and effective. After 2 hours you still scald your tongue or lips if you don't pre-cool it slightly!

I swear by contigo cups. The older design made it difficult to clean around the sealing mechanism but they seem to have updated it in these new ones to make it more accessible.
By the way I got some in Bristol last week for this price so probably a nationwide deal. (edited)

These are the best on the market, and I've tried a few, I have to say these are top for the dollar👌

Best on the market for what? Many mugs have different characteristics or price points! I have a Contigo & a Bodum. The Contigo is gathering dust because the Bodum fits what I need it for. (edited)

    Dishwasher friendly?
    hotukdealsMD's avatar
The lid is. The rest is hand wash, so a long brush and some bicarbonate of soda…

Any ideas if all parts are dishwasher proof?
    Zimmy's avatar
Only the lid can be put in the dishwasher (safely), like most of these.

Can these be tipped over and upside down with it leaking? Gf normally puts it in her handbag to go to work
    maltloaf_df's avatar
They don't leak at all, they seal up automatically when you're not drinking, you hold a button when taking a sip. There's also a lock to prevent the button being pressed such as in a bag etc.

These are not of good quality. Can't keep anything warm for more than 30 min and heat loss is high. Recently switched to these from some other brand and regretting

Complete rubbish. Like everyone else on this post, I have found that it is too hot to drink so have to cool it first before sealing.

Very good. Only issues is that the base is quite large and so doesn't fit some car cup holders.

BTW, which branch was this? (edited)

Purchased mine from Costco last year; paid full price and can’t fault them - still going strong and no leaks 🏽

Great price for 2. Paid £9 at Asda a few months back and my coffee is still boiling 4/5 hrs in
    dtaylor21184's avatar
Aren't they the cheaper snapseal ones not the autoseal?
  14. Zimmy's avatar
The Contigos are pretty much the only ones that actually don't leak
    Zosia's avatar
My cheap Chinese mug doesn't leak and it traveled with me around the world in the last few years.

Saw these in Costco Watford today. They are £16.99 plus VAT, so £20.39

When you look at the image of the receipt it does appear to be £16.99 plus VAT - can anyone confirm as the “A” next to the price means VAT applicable and this gets added on to the total at the bottom of the receipt
  19. TylerDurdenUK's avatar
    Are they £11.98 or £16.99 ?

I have one of these that must be several years old and still works perfectly. A couple of points. The hole that allows fluid through is small, so the fluid flows kind of slowly. Some of the plastic parts has discoloured. As with all these metal thermal mugs, you cant see the contents and for me can be a pain. Personally I prefer the see through plastic with Bodum Thermal mugs as you can see the contents & microwave if the contents gets cool. The Bodum does not seal as well and will leak very slowly from the vent hole if left on its side and is not as efficient in keeping heat in. So each has it plus & minus. bodum.com/gb/…mug (edited)
    indyjukebox's avatar
The Bodum's are pretty poor compared to Contigo. Like some one else said, often the issue is that it is too hot to drink frrom one of these. So I add a tiny shard of ice to cool it a bit and make it more drinkable.

  27. meanredspider's avatar
I have two of these from Costco too - they’re good except they seem to dent very easily
  28. Andwoo's avatar
Are these available at other stores?
  29. meanredspider's avatar
If you want something approaching the best, Yeti knock these into a cocked hat but you pay for that quality
