About this item
  • SAFE and SEALED: The Snap Seal technology is designed for an easy, one-handed drinking experience; when you’re done sipping, simply snap the lid closed for leak-proof protection anywhere you go
  • ICE COLD OR PIPING HOT: Thermalock double-wall vacuum insulation keeps temperatures locked in for hours; drinks stay hot up to 6 hours or cold up to 12 hours, on the go, in the office or outdoors
  • DURABLE: High-quality travel mug, BPA-free plastic lid and vacuum insulated stainless steel body; the sweat proof design makes sure your liquids stay in the bottle, not on the outside

  • IDEAL FIT: The thermal mug provides easy and convenient one-handed drinking for both left- and right-handed users, and fits most car cup-holders: Size 8.3x8x18.5 cm; Capacity 470 ml; Weight 275 g

these are ok but a pain to clean inside the lid with the spring mechanism also elderly people may struggle with the trigger or operating mechanism if they have poor grip strength

Yes, you have to be meticulous with the cleaning on the inside of cap

See I bought a few of these and find that if you are on the go all day and you want to make sure your drink is hot all day, this isn't the best one for that. (I had a gastric bypass so I can't drink too fast) but I found that for the same price you can get the larger ikea undersoka flask (the larger one that is metal with the blue lid) and it will keep your drink hot most of the day. If im driving all day that's the one I reach for though its a little more tricky to clean, a few pipe cleaners really help for the drinking lid. I often get a large costa around 6.30am/7am and it's still a very pleasant warm at 5pm. I know coz the mister usually steals the last of it when I pick him up from work. That is the only one in this price point I'd rate. Even rate it over my ember travel mug.....

These are 'too' good for me. 1.5 hour drive to work, with the cap popped open, and I can't start drinking the coffee until the last 30 minutes

These are by no way the same quality as the contiago brand.

Idiot me overtightened this and it did something to the seal. So... Don't do that I guess.

You can get seals on Amazon.

Any good for keeping food warm? Pasta for packed lunch for example?
    petem2's avatar
A bit narrow to be eating pasta out of tbh.

They are well good. Have one for years and it's amazing.

Had one for a while it keeps my tea warm for a few hours

Last about a couple of hours before you ought to start drinking. Wouldn't last much more than that without doing temp too far

Check your local Homesense and tkmaxx. Always in stock at good prices

Still healing from the scald on half my hand after trying to further tighten one of these (from Tesco no less) after noticing tea seeping from the edge - AMA!

I picked mine up from Amazon to give it a go. However, the "Drinks stay hot up to 6h" claim isn't holding up for me. The first coffee I put in it stayed reasonably hot for about 2 hours, but it dropped off to warm after that. It's a shame, because I really like the design. So, I'm in two minds about holding onto it.
