sorted byMy own view is that plastic and toaster are two words that don't belong together.
However most toasters nowadays seem to be made of more plastic than metal.
Cheaper I assume.
Toasters are also too bulky.
My old 4 slice toaster is all metal
(except handle on slider) and is also way slimmer than current ones.
Why don't they make quality goods anymore? (edited)

Probably the simplest risk to avoid out of the many that exist.
