Fine as a toaster but worth saying there is not much benefit of a three year guarantee. After six months Aldi routinely offer a partial refund to reflect usage of the product, typically 2/3 of the purchase price As there is precious little to go wrong in a toaster outside of user error this probably isn't an issue, but a £7 refund isn't likely to butter many parsnips.

Thanks for that I shall try the e mail. The phone number I’ve already tried and it’s an answer machine message in Spanish. As mentioned the chat now to an expert is useless as not monitored by humans
I found a phone number in their faq section, hope this helps How to contact us. You can contact us by: Email: hello@bodum.uk.
Used three times and now broken as bread won’t stay down. Even when it did work warburtons bread won’t fit in and it toasted unevenly. Trying to return but no phone number or e mail for Bobum UK only a robot chat which nobody replies to (fierce)
Just put in my basket showing £29.95 now
I was going to say the same thing!

Will this deal get red hot ? Should do -it’s a toaster !
That's a lot of heat for a poor toaster, but not surprising given it burns your toast.
Currys must know they are faulty but still sell them. I posted on another thread about exactly the same thing
This is what is happening for me. Thought I was going crazy but on setting 1 and it burns the bread. Going to have to contact them about it. Wouldn't recommend this toaster
Currys picking ours up Tuesday, got to it return via DPD as online purchase and return with kettle (bought as a set). Toaster absolutely garbage, burns bread even on setting 1

Does this fit a proper sized slice of bread, Warburtons for example?
Good toasters these are, had mine a while now (y)
That is just your local store stock where you get deliveries from, if you change store it may show as in stock, as you can see mine is available at my selected store.
Red and chrome still available though 👌

60 slices per hour every hour
Yes, but have you used it during that time? ;)
I've owned one of these for 20 years
Perfect! But OOS. Grrrrr...!
According to some reviews that may well happen.......
Toasters: Perfect Slices Every Time

While toasters have featured in our homes for well over a century, finding the perfect one can still be a challenge. Everyone has their toast quirks, whether they like their slices just slightly browned or very well done while today's fast-growing range of bread makes finding the ideal toaster even more challenging. Do you want a basic budget model that just has room for two standard slices of bread or do you want something that caters for your every whim from bagels for breakfast to pitta bread for lunch? You can even expand your toast repertoire with a sandwich toaster that copes with a filling between two slices of bread or panini.
Make up your mind with our hotukdeals guide, where we will take you through everything you need to know when it comes to toasters, as well as where to find the best toaster deals. Read on to find out more!

Features and Functions to Look for in a New Toaster
While all free-standing domestic toasters are similar in appearance and action there are certain features and functions that set them apart (and sometimes determine the price). These include:
- Number of slices
2-slice toasters are ideal for small families, small spaces and small budgets. They come with either two parallel slots or one long single slot. They may not have all the other functions that a larger 4 slice toaster does. If you eat a lot of toast or are feeding more than two people then invest in a 4-slice toaster. They usually come with extra features but on the downside, they take up twice as much room on the kitchen worktop.
- A high lift (extra lift)
If you've ever singed your fingers trying to extricate small toasted items such as crumpets or muffins from your toaster you'll appreciate the high lift function. This lets you push products higher than they normally sit once they've popped up. It is sometimes called an extra lift function.
- Toasting settings
Everyone has a preference for the colour of their toast and with good shade settings you can ensure perfect toast slice after slice. Shade settings are usually in the form of a dial or sliding scale showing how toasted the bread will be. The more scale settings your toaster has, the more accurate it will be at getting your toast just right.
- Other settings
Some toasters also feature a range of other settings. Defrost lets you toast bread straight from the freezer. This is a fairly standard feature even on budget toasters. The Reheat or Keep Warm setting lets you warm up already prepared toast without burning it. Some toasters do this automatically. A bagelor crumpet setting cleverly toasts on one side only giving the perfect finish.
- Removable crumb tray
Making toast without making crumbs is impossible and if stray crumbs are allowed to build up they will impact on your toaster's function. Most toasters come with a removable crumb tray. Slide this out regularly and wipe off the crumbs to keep your toaster working properly.
- Appearance
Toasters come in a variety of shades and finishes from neutral to jazzy. Chrome toasters fit with any decor but are a magnet for fingerprints. Glass toasters are different and a little glamorous but as well as also attracting fingerprints, all the crumbs inside are clearly visible making them high-maintenance on the cleaning front. If you like a colour-coordinated look for all your kitchen appliances then check out the kettle and toaster set sale at hotukdeals for matching items.
Our Top Eight Toaster Brands
Here's some top toaster brands that we would recommend:
Breville: The Australian brand Breville was launched in Sydney in 1932 and is best known for its small domestic appliances including the Breville toaster. Breville toasters are consistently rated highly by reviewers and comparison sites. They're particularly noted for their blend of industry-leading functionality and good looks. Not only are they easy to use, they're also easy to look after.
Russell Hobbs: Launched in 1952 with kettles and toasters among its first products, by the 1960s Russell Hobbs was the UK's leading producer of small domestic appliances. Founder and product developer William Russell had a fail-safe, if novel, method of checking the safety of new appliances. They had to survive having half a pint of boiling gravy poured on them! Russell Hobbs carries an extensive range of toasters from the mid-price range to the high-end. You can even get a Russell Hobbs toaster with a pretty polka dot finish.
De'Longhi: Founded in 1902, De'Longhi brings Italian style to the kitchen. DeLonghi toasters have won design awards and they are among the top-selling toaster brands in Europe. They're certainly not the cheapest options but they score highly for their design-led appearance, their functionality and features (such as the bagel function) which set them apart from their competitors.
Kitchenaid: Now part of the Whirlpool family, Kitchenaid was launched in the USA in 1919. While best known for its iconic stand mixer, Kitchenaid also produces a wide range of small home appliances including toasters. The Kitchenaid toaster is available in a wide spectrum of colours from cream to cherry red and is recognised for being a premium product.
Dualit: The British label Dualit has over 70 years experience of crafting toasters and other kitchen appliances, plenty of time to perfect the sleek architectural lines of its products. As well as being attractive, Dualit toasters are ergonomically designed to be easy to use. They are finished with a wide range of functions created to make breakfast 'extraordinary'.
Kenwood: Originally a British brand but now owned by the De'Longhi Group, Kenwood has been producing appliances since 1947. In fact, its first product was a toaster. Like all of its appliances, Kenwood toasters are noted for their reliability and durability. Packing in plenty of features and functions, these toasters come in a bold range of shades that run from gold to purple.
Smeg: The Italian appliance brand Smeg was founded in Italy in 1948 and is still a family-owned company. While its retro-style fridges have become iconic kitchen appliances, Smeg toasters are also easy on the eye with their rounded outlines and pretty pastel colours. All Smeg toasters feature extra-wide slots.
Morphy Richards: Founded near London just before the Second World War, Morphy Richards has always been a reliable name in home appliances. By the 1950s, there was hardly a home in the UK without at least one Morphy Richards product in the kitchen. Morphy Richards toasters sit in the mid-price range and come with a good choice of colours, design and functions.

How to Clean a Toaster
Keeping your toaster clean and crumb-free will not only extend its life but will keep you safe. If you use your toaster most days, empty the crumb tray and clean it at least once a week. Make it part of your kitchen cleaning routine and you won't forget. Simply follow these step-by-step instructions:

Always unplug your toaster and make sure it's cool before cleaning it or emptying the crumbs.
Pull out the crumb tray, empty crumbs into the bin and wash the tray with warm, soapy water.
Use a soft brush to loosen any crumbs in the toaster then turn it upside down and gently shake it over the sink or bin. (Never put a toaster in the dishwasher or into water.)
Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and polish with a tea towel or microfibre duster.
Reinsert the crumb tray.
Accessories For Your New Toaster
Some toasters come with accessories in the box while other brands have a range of accessories to purchase that add more versatility to your toaster use. You can also buy toaster accessories from high street stores and online retailers. Popular accessories include:
Toaster FAQs
Alan MacMasters invented the first electric toaster in 1893, calling it the 'Eclipse Toaster'. Marketed in Britain by the Crompton Company, the first domestic toaster was an expensive luxury and only able to toast one side of the bread. It wasn't the labour-saving device it was later to become.
Electrical energy from the domestic electricity supply flows into the toaster via the plug and cable. This energy continues flowing through the thin filaments, turning them orange as they heat up. These filaments then beam the heat towards the bread which lies between them causing it to start to burn and turn brown.
No. On a slice-for-slice basis, there is no difference between the calorie content of bread and toast. Toasting does, however, reduce some of the nutrients in bread such as Vitamin B. This reduction is not significant enough to make any real dietary difference. There is always a temptation with a hot toast of adding too much butter thus adding to the calories!
No, it doesn't. Mouldy bread should not be eaten whether toasted or not. Discard it instead.
Toasters and kettles are among the most essential small appliances in the home and are highly visible in the kitchen. If you appreciate a coordinated look for your decor, then most small appliance brands make matching kettles and toasters. To save searching separately for them check out our kettle and toaster set sale at hotukdeals.
Where to Buy Great Toaster Deals
Toasters are widely available from supermarkets such as Tesco and Sainsbury's, high street stores including Robert Dyas, John Lewis and Currys/PC World. Buy them online from these retailers as well as from Amazon and the websites of toaster brands such as Breville, Russell Hobbs, De'Longhi and KitchenAid. Every retailer has a toaster sale at some stage of the year but the best prices are always found during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday events in November.

I have had a Dualit for years and it still looks like that in the picture. Its money well spent
Burger buns!
AHH the bagel button .... Something you don't need ... But really, really want !!
I can only manage to eat 50 slices of toast in an hour, so this would be wasted on me.
I got this the last time it was on offer and was quite disappointed with how unevenly it toasts. One side of toast is always very undercooked. First Which Best Buy item I bought that wasn’t up to the standards.

What no warranty :/
Don't buy this it's rubbish. Less than 6 months and in the bin. Side 1 broke and so you can't use it at all.
In 2015 I bought a De'Longhi Icona 4 slot toaster (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0083VURP6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) It's still as new after seven years of intense daily use and being moved across the country. We even saw it in use in several five star hotels. I know it's a different price class but I don't believe in cheap 8) . I spent back then £49 - so for less than £7 per year I have a perfect toaster that does everything: defrost, independent elements for left and right, bagel function etc. It's a much better buy than something like this that breaks within a year? And if money is not a concern then consider the environment - less WEEE waste = a slightly better planet :{
most slices of bread don't fit horizontally either, have to stand them up so the top part and crust pokes out and comes out untoasted
Before you purchase I would read this review, then decide if it’s really worth it. I’ve managed to keep ours going with some running repairs. Ultimately though, it’s a really poor product.

Had the kettle for 2 years and it's been faultless, dry boil protection is handy too if you've got a more senior member of society living with you, last one went pop! :D Might want to avoid the black one if you're in a hard water area and don't want to be descaling it every fortnight. Honeycomb pattern looks better in person too.
SebK: I cannot get the code 7OFFPICKUP to work, maybe I used this offer in the past. Awww, yeah, you probably have then . It wouldn't let me use it at pickup at the post office but worked when I changed it to the Amazon lockers if that helps at all
I cannot get the code 7OFFPICKUP to work, maybe I used this offer in the past.
Thank you so much. I was looking at getting them, so I just ordered. I also used the Save £7 When You Spend £20 Or More When You Choose An Amazon Pickup Location (Selected Accounts) with Code @ Amazon
Agree I cannot see a 4 slice toaster and kettle for less than 35, 13+22 and they look basic. They have nice ones similar to this design but not for much less than this deal.

Thanks, OP. Ordered. Hope I don't get burnt by this offer - lol. If you haven't seen this Toaster from Red Dwarf, you have to.
All I want from a toaster is for it to toast evenly and be able to warm my buns. This could be ideal. Hopefully I have reached the end of my quest. Thanks OP.
I have the asda toaster and it definitely does fit the toasty sized bread. And evenly toasts as well. Best toaster I’ve owned
I bought one of these a couple of months ago when it was on offer at this price. It looks good, and it makes really nice toast - a good even browning. I'm a bit fussy about toasters to be honest, I hate uneven toasting. This is as good as I've found for a long time. The slots aren't the longest, so you have to squash bigger slices in - a standard Kingsmill or Hovis sliced loaf is fine. I like an Aldi/Lidl Malted Bloomer, and they need squashing in, but it doesn't jam up and it toasts beautifully. It does feel a little flimsy and light, I was expecting a more solid feel given it's original price, but for the money it's very good.
I went through hoops looking for the same recently when my toaster broke. Amazon reviews of lots of different toasters all lament the lack of fit for a Warburtons Toasty, apparently the holy grail of toaster measurement. I ordered an expensive one from Argos that seemed best, but en route to pick it up popped into Asda, found a £12 George "wide slice" one that looked great and so far it has been great. Wide and long enough for me. Might be worth a look if you have an Asda near you.

I'm on my 3rd one of these, and now it's burning toast on setting 1. Back to Currys again. Do not buy!!!
Thanks for the comments, will give this a miss.
This is clearly a toaster that should never have been priced at £80. The sale price seems like what it's actually worth. It looks similar spec to the Morphy Richards toaster I have which is also around £40.
That’s a shame, it looks nice! I was taken in by its appearance before I read your post.
Don't get me started on the matching kettle!!

Ours broke after a year. It also starts looking dirty quite quickly. This is the cheap version of their proper range. Replaced with a Bosch that costs half the price and much happier.
A lot of people confuse these Lite range of toasters with the proper Dualit Classic toasters, these LITE models can not be repaired and Dualit do not sell any parts for them. The more expensive Classic toasters however are fully repairable.
Our 4 slice is 12 this year must agree with others though it does toast unevenly, we bought the kettle at the same time think it was around £90 and that didn't make 2 years rubbish.
We've got this, purely based on the Warburton's claim - which is usually valid (but maybe 1/10 loaves is a little taller and doesn't fit). Had it about 3 years and it no longer toasts evenly. Plus, if you're only doing 1 slice it burns the side facing the empty slot. Disappointing considering I thought this toaster was the answer! Was tempted to get this deal to replace it but won't bother judging by the comments.
Had one a couple of years ago - didn't last long - was seduced by the brand name - didn't realise till too late that the cheaper ones were Chinese and you will pay a lot lot more for a good old British one that you can relace parts one and will last forever. Would never but this standard of toaster again, you would be as well off with an £8 one from Asda.

Yes - very. I live in London, but up North is nowhere as near as bad
Every 2-3 weeks is quite often, do you live in a hard water area?
Great toaster and kettle. Got mine from Currys 3 years ago and still going strong. I descale the kettle every 2-3 weeks which helps performance as tends to slow down otherwise.
Agreed, this is far from the worst. I was in Currys yesterday though and they had flimsy plastic kettles for £130. Madness!
Mine is in the garage waiting to go to charity. I've paid more and it did the job, but it takes too much space, so replaced with something smaller. Hot! Asda own brand toaster is £12, a cheap kettle is about the same price. This is double the size, looks good, the quality seems OK and is about £5 more than the cheapest toasters and kettles. Not a bad price IMO.

I have this one and it's alright. Only issue is toast occasionally gets stuck in it for some reason. Other than that it's fine, thaws frozen bread completely too.
Does anyone have this toaster and can recommend?
Argos have also matched same price for people that do not have Prime / Free Delivery at Amazon

Plastic on the inside is disappointing
ooo what a lovely toaster.

£99 for me as well
It's saying £99, or £79 on approval of an Amazon Mastercard 😳
Well that price didn’t last long. Saying £99 for me
It is £99.99 for me. Am I missing something?

The seller seems to be trustworthy enough going by feedback
Yeah, you're probably right!
I think if they will fake something, they will fake a better and more expensive brand.
Any chance these are fake? (Got a fake kettle once on ebay - didn't realise for ages, until someone mentioned something similar om Twitter and then all the trouble I'd had with it was explained!)

Ooh.... ur over 40 🤫
It just looks nice, I wish more companies made their toasters to look forgettable... It's not a piece of art.
This is a great price for a genuine slice toasted in a Toshiba. My home is full of Toshiba gadgets and gizmos like this one.
Was scared in case the toast gets burned 🔥 lollll
You failed to mention about overclocking

Well reviews need to be treated for what they are worth. One liner reviews, even if praise, don't hold much value for me. I'd rather know what to be aware of, rather than simple yeah it's great.
gets excellent reviews. And was a bargain at £10. Sadly all gone now and almost double the price. I think they had a misproce on this and the kettle. Both get very good reviews. that one gets bad reviews.
Going to go for this which is being sold without a deal promo for £12.50. Its looks suit the brushed St. Steel fraternity.
Still deliberating if I get it or not. 4th toaster on its last legs courtesy of "someone" who thinks punching the toaster will release jammed-in chunky doorstop bread slice. Since that fatal blow to the head, current toaster has a mind of its own and stops toasting when you want to multi-task. It wants you there, looking at it, otherwise it pings the circuit off.
Very cheaply made really not much use The toaster and kettles are very slow and hit and miss.
Nae photo lol
