Don't buy it unless you're going to use filtered water. The limescale builds up very quickly.

Limescale is caused by the hardness of the water. Only more noticeable with this kettle due to the glass. (edited)

This is exactly the same as the "Logik" kettle I have. It makes annoying beeps, but other than that is OK. For limescale I find that boiling half a bottle of white vinegar diluted with water so that the kettle is filled up, and doing this twice removes most limescale.

Obviously you can select the temperature for green tea, coffee etc. and that is why I bought it.

I have one that is basically the same bar the colour changing - same heating concept.
I use lemon juice (shop bought, not squeezed!)
Put enough in to cover the heating plate, swish it around to get the limescale off the glass that has risen, and leave to soak for an hour or 2 and it's all gone.
Rinse and use, good as new.

Is the light always on or does it come on when switch on and turn of once boiled?

Light comes on only when boiling

Heat, just because I like the colour changing effect. I would have purchased it if needed it.

    Thanks OP :-)
Picked one up yesterday to replace a 10 year old DeLonghi and all good so far.
Think it will look great on darker mornings and evenings :-)
