This seemed nice for the height of summer, if like my wife you work strictly term time, then this may be for you, as above, flying from Brum, includes baggage, 7 night, bed and breakfast and a twin room with a balcony, tripadvisor has them 4 out of 5 stars, tui rating a little less

This family-run hotel delivers plenty of rural charm, along with hearty Greek cooking.
This hotel is on a quiet country road, about a 10-minute walk from a village where you’ll find shops, bars and restaurants. And it’s about the same distance to the sand-and-shingle Blue Flag beach.
The pool is at the back of the hotel, giving it a secluded feel. It’s got great views over the nearby hills. There’s a restaurant serving home-cooked Greek specialities, while the bar’s known for its whiskies.

Pools
The pool has a private spot behind the hotel, and really makes the most of its panoramic views over the surrounding hills and olive groves. Read More

Food & Drink
The restaurant has a covered terrace with views over the hills and olive groves. In the mornings it serves a Continental or cooked breakfast, with freshly baked bread.
In the evenings, the restaurant serves home-cooked Greek dishes, alongside grilled steaks and fish. There are also international favourites like pizza. Read More

Entertainment
At Saturday’s Greek night, local musicians play Greek music, while dancers perform in traditional costume. Later, you’ll get chance to join in yourself. There’s also a quiz night.
There’s a large lounge bar with comfy chairs where you can unwind with a drink – the hotel’s known for its excellent whisky collection. Read More

Sports & Activities
There’s excellent hiking around here – the well-known Corfu Trail is just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel.

Facility Summary
You’ll get a real feel for Greece here, with the friendly owners and traditional décor. As you relax by the pool you’ll be able to soak up the panoramic views, and if you get peckish there are traditional home-cooked dishes on offer for you to try. And to top it all off there's a weekly Greek night.

Rooms
Rooms here are very laid back and simple. They are decorated in light soft colours with bold accents. You'll have a choice of twin rooms which sleep up to 2 or 3, and can have the added comfort of air-conditioning for an extra charge.

Floors: 3 | Rooms: 31

I stayed in that hotel back in the late 80's. It was called the Yaliskari Palace back then, it was very nice and in a lovely quiet location. There is a steep walk down to what was a private beach. It is/was quite isolated with only 1 or 2 small tavernas nearby so if you want a lively holiday this isn't for you.

Great effort. We have kids too. There is a real shortage of anyone looking for deals for school holidays. Know it doesn't include kids but thanks for the effort. (edited)

You'll probably need air conditioning in Aug usually about 40/50 euros a week.

Avoid at all costs, this is possibly the worst hotel in Corfu.
