It should be known that you follow the installation instructions completely and read up on how to install it beforehand. It's been seen in the reviews of these being bricked during installation. If you're somewhat tech savvy, you should have no problems.

Here's the YouTube link on the install.

Can anyone who owns the Corsair iCue cooler tell me if the fan noise is as bad as some of the comments online suggest?

I've just been researching into components for a new pc and whilst I like the thought of customising the display, if it's going to be that noisy, I won't bother.

I have one of the all in one units by corsair, it's not particularly loud. I usually prefer it to ve very quiet but I honestly don't notice it much at all after a few days of use. Get back to you on what one I use. Using a corsair case too which came with a fan too, just one of their standard ones which does the job.

Corsair iCUE H100i RGB ELITE 240mm All-in-One Liquid CPU Cooler and Corsair Carbide 275R mid tower which had one of the standard fans.

Hope this was even slightly helpful 😬 (edited)

Would I want one of these in a glass case ? definitely.... but £50 is still too much for a little display that does little else than tells the temp.

Good to see these are frequently on offer, can nab myself one at some point when I'm not tight on funds 😁. Thanks for the post

This cpu would have a better cooler than I did last year's heatwave.

Maybe i'm getting too old for this sort of stuff, but I have no idea why anyone would buy something like this. Other than taking photos of a pretty pc for advertising purposes, noone is looking through the window of their PC to see stats when you can display them as an overlay on your actual screen.

Reminds me of people that buy a base model chip (e.g 5600x/7600x) and spend £200/£250 on a fancy AIO when you could buy a better cpu (e.g 5800x/7700x) with something like a Noctua/BeQuiet tower cooler for less.

Form over function makes zero sense but maybe I am just old.
