VENGEANCE LPX memory is designed for high-performance overclocking. The heatspreader is made of pure aluminum for faster heat dissipation, and the custom performance PCB helps manage heat and provides superior overclocking headroom. Each IC is individually screened for peak performance potential.

CompatibilityTested
Part of our exhaustive testing process includes performance and compatibility testing on nearly every motherboard on the market – and a few that aren’t.

XMP 2.0 Support
One setting is all it takes to automatically adjust to the fastest safe speed for your VENGEANCE LPX kit. You’ll get amazing, reliable performance without lockups or other strange behavior.

Aluminum Heat Spreader
Overclocking overhead is limited by operating temperature. The unique design of the VENGEANCE LPX heat spreader optimally pulls heat away from the ICs and into your system’s cooling path, so you can push it harder.
Designed For High-Performance Overclocking
Each VENGEANCE LPX module is built from an custom performance PCB and highly-screened memory ICs. The efficient heat spreader provides effective cooling to improve overclocking potential.

Low-Profile Design
The small form factor makes it ideal for smaller cases or any system where internal space is at a premium.

Match Your System
The best high-performance systems look as good as they run. VENGEANCE LPX is available in several colors to match your motherboard, your other components, your case — or just your favorite color.

World-Famous Reliability
There’s a reason why world-champion overclockers, extreme gaming enthusiasts and high-end system builders all trust CORSAIR for high-performance memory that they can install with confidence and pride. Down it comes- PC sales are collapsing, Nvidia has ruined the idea of the gaming PC, and we are coming off of a recent high in general PC pricing. This business is cyclical.

Then there is the massive old stock and good second hand stock that competes very effectively with new tech.

Flash is crashing, RAM is dropping fast, and DDR4 is now 'outdated' so can collapse even faster.

With 64GB this cheap, think of a reason NOT to use this in your PC. Windows uses surplus RAM as a cache, which can help a lot with certain apps and games. No more browser worries if you love keeping tabs open. And if you have only 16GB, well that is an amount that is now on the edge, and 64GB is such a lovely increase.

WAIT- this is FOUR sticks?! Yuk, yuk, yuk, yuk. You cannot believe how much Intel and AMD depreciated the 'safe' use of 4 slots over recent years- personally I'd never use anything but two memory slots- you take your sanity into your hands if you try populating all 4 slots. And, BTW, the Intel designed desktop RAM bus interface tops out at TWO channels connected to the CPU- so you get no bandwidth performance boost from 4 sticks- yes the other two slots can hold data but they are interleaved with the first two- which provides electrical issues that have caused problems in the past with high speed RAM.

I'm sure there is a memory setting that allows 4 sticks in most modern motherboards sold today, but it may be lower than the max speed an individual stick offers.

PS if you have a server MB, with a specialised server CPU or chipset, it will almost certainly be designed for more than two memory channels, in which case using 4 or 6 or 8 etc sticks is the intended method of operation. But all desktop motherboards are designed for TWO sticks, and only use 4 with an unreliable switching trick.

    This is pretty nuts >

No XMP profile, should be ok to use a BIOS preset instead and try it CL22 though but very cheap.

As I am on AM4 I'd go with a Patriot kit for £127.99 on Amazon I think. Good sign though that RAM is getting ever so cheap.
