    Been getting a lot of BSOD on my RYZEN system in last week and was considering replacing my Vegeance LPX ram like for like. My current system is about 5 years old.

    Is it better to get 16 or 32gb? I currently have 11.4gb out of 16gb free. Not entirely sure my ram is faulty but £35.99seems cheap. I am currently downclocking the ram in case that was causing the BSOD errors.

    Is it safer to just use 2 out of 4 slots? Running a B350 MSI motherbaord.

    Probably a good idea to run some health/diagnostic checks on your system to find what the problem is. Could be faulty ram, but might be a failed fan with more impact in the warmer weather

    its generally not a good idea to mix ram stick speeds/brands/timings etc, but if you were to and it all worked fine, this is 2 x 8gb, so your pc would default all ram stick speeds to the lowest setting stick, i.e. 8gb 3200 in this case.

    Got this deal a week ago to compliment my upgrade to a Ryzen 5700X. Works perfectly fine so far @ 3200MHz with DOCP enabled on my ASUS PRIME B350-PLUS board with the v6042 BIOS.
