    QLC memory.

And the same poor endurance of the plain Crucial P3: 220TB per TB. Although almost all QLC drive have similar - guess anything better would require lots of over-provisioning. The Solidigm (ex Intel now owned by Hynix) P41 Plus is the only QLC driver with noticeably better, but 400 TBW per 1TB is still poor.

May not matter to some -after all it still means you could totally write over the whole drive 200 odd times.

The usual ignorant question here: would this be compatible with a PS5, and if so is there a recommended heat sink deal to go alongside it?

How did these nvme drives get so cheap so fast? The prices were relatively stable for a while (I'm mad I bought two and then the prices crashed :D)

Yeah I bought an sn850 with a heatsink for a ps5 for about £130 less than a year ago and that was a good deal back then. Now there's ps5 compatible drives for £64??

P5 plus has been virtually this price in the last 24h from crucial and that it is a full dram drive. I'd wait for a similar deal.

Now that's a far better drive.
Faster, more consistent (TLC not QLC), nearly three times the endurance.

The P5 Plus is far from the best PCIe 4.0 drive, but then that (was) a great price. Thing is on the Crucial site currently I can only see if £116 - 10% so £104.75. At that price, you can almost buy the Seagate FireCuda 530 which is far faster and has an endurance pf 1,800 TBW. Or the Kingston KC3000 for ~£84 (I know Kingston did bait-and-switch way back when but that was years ago).

Should I wait out then to buy this, and wait for a P5 Plus or the SN850X or Samsung 980? Any deals for those anybody aware of?

Excuse my ignorance but would anyone know if this would work with a converter as an internal hd in a MacBook Pro 15” Retina Late 2013? Thanks

Supports TCG OPAL encryption, usable via BitLocker on Windows. Very nice.
