For less than £10 difference, the other one is a better drive. And if you get the X8 from Amazon Spain, it is actually cheaper than this X6:

Anyone have experience of this or similar in an xbox series s? Just wondering if it will be much better than a standard hard drive (any advice appreciated)

You can't run Xbox Series S/X games off it, they have to be installed on internal storage or the Seagate Storage Expansion Card.

Hmm, still £56.99 for me. Try looking under other sellers or using this link

Voted hot. The 2TB model at £100.99 looks good too.

When I try to copy lots of large files (over 2GB in size each), it starts off around 800MB/s, then it drops to under 200MB/s after copying around 5GB. Apart from that, the drive is cool to touch, very light weight and portable.

I'm using this with a MacBook Pro M1 Pro Max with a USB C to USB C connection, so it maybe different with other systems.

It's from the product page - the range has 500GB, 1TB, 2TB and 4TB options. This offer is on the 1TB one.

The X8 which has faster transfer was only £62 on ebay with the code. Sadly, code does not work anymore. However, you can get it for £64 from Amazon. I don't mean this deal is nit good, I only suggest an alternative for slightly less. For my needs, the X8 is better, but don't spend extra if the x6 ticks your boxes.
