Some of larry and leons scenes have had me in stiches for hours Hot

LARRY DAVID I don't know her last name. She was in my BlackBerry under "Denise handicapped". That's how I remember these names. Don't you do that in your Blackberry? You put names down with jobs, some association, so you remember who they are? I got "Sean yoga", the yoga teacher, and "Teresa masseuse".

LEON BLACK I do the same thing. I got "Nancy big tits". I know Nancy got big ass tits. "Janelle sweet ass

best comedy ever, seriously tempted, still pricey but a bargain for what you get. Just a bit irritating when you have all the episodes downloaded.

Never seen a single episode of this show, even though everyone tells me its utterly, utterly brilliant.
Think i'll buy this and see what all the fuss is about.

please please do yourself a favour and buy these dvds, usually come in around £70 odds, bargain price, i dont usually like comedys but this one is first class, its the kind that has situations of everyday life and you will be thinking of the daft things larry does that you do yourself, he tries to be kind to folk and it always backfires, he is very rich but very down-to-earth and gets himself into all sorts of daft situations, then no-one is speaking to him and he doesnt understand why, funniest show for years.

My brother recently introduced me to this series and I'm surprised it's not better known as I'd never heard about it before. It is hilarious and particularly amusing that the comedy comes from such seemingly mundane and everyday situations.

Eh? It's very similar to One Foot In The Grave but there's no Supersonic Sid, or Cliff Richard impressions in it.

Great series, I only got into it within the past year when Sky Atlantic started showing them from series 1. Heat added

not really because you can actually laugh at curb, whilst little and large are as funny as a dead baby.curb is by far one of the funniest, unflinching adult entertainment shows i have seen.i mean, how many shows would have the balls to mix a holocaust survivor at a dinner table with a "survivor" from the gameshow survivor lol.

    consistent comedy at its best

The episode with his Aunts funeral and the misspelt obituary in the paper - never laughed as much!! - "beloved #unt"

It's genius & you can see where Ricky Gervais got his inspiration for the office. Probs best comedy I've watched since black adder

one of my fave scenes is with larry complaining about michael j fox`s parkinsons and leon storms into larrys room to join in the complaints and comes out with this peach "Michael J. Fox bout to be Michael J. #ucked up in a minute. lol.

Brilliant series, this is a bargain...

"There are two types of people who wear sunglasses indoors...blind people and a$$holes!!!

And the scene with the chef with tourettes is pure comedy gold

Love anything with Leon in it. But season 4 for me with Mel Brooks is just pure genius and the last episode of the season with Mel Brooks & Anne Bancroft is just superb.

So tempted by this even though I have seen every single episode, many of them more than once. What I really want is series 9! Best American comedy ever.

That's my favourite ever episode. The final 5 mins or so, when Larry arrives at the house for the concert, is exceptional.

The Office aired in 2001, Curb in 2000.

That's a small window for 'inspired' writing.

As much as it is so easy to give the yanks a verbal bashing, this is comical genius from Larry David (Gervais is an insignificant sideshow compared - regardless of how many cheesy hollywood films he may now do)

This stands as one of the funniest things on its own merit. Ejaculate

I honestly don't get this show. I know a lot of it is improvised, but every scene is just people talking or shouting over each other.

Each to their own I suppose.
