Does anyone know how this would compare to the Samsung G5?

Or any amazing deals on the G7 if possible....

The G5 is horrible, motion handling is awful (like all Samsungs cheaper VA panels). ghosting/Black smearing on them is dreadful and if you have them on the fastest setting to compensate you get bad overshoot.

The G7 is better but being VA the motion handling still doesn't match IPS, it comes close but still has some Black smearing. (edited)

Right after I recommend a bunch of 27 and 32 inch monitors to a couple of people, this and a great 27" deal get posted.

    Excellent screen for that price.
Good SDR brightness, very good colour accuracy, great motion handling.
What's not to like? (other than the lowef contrast ratio compared to VA and possible IPS glow, before anyone else mentions them, lol).
Not big enough negatives to take away from this deal really.

HDR isn't worth using as it's not great (like pretty much all monitors in this price range and even more expensive ones). (edited)

Do you know much about the HDR for the Dell S2721DGF?

I bought two of them and so far haven't used it because I was getting confused by the settings

is this the replacement to the discontinued S2721DGFA? I own that one.

Thanks, ordered. Still have some concerns regarding switching from 27" QHD to 32" QHD but will see.

It was too noticeable for me, got this as a replacement for a 27" QHD but had to send it back. The drop in pixel density was really off putting. (edited)
