Easy to use, compact and stylish, the Denon DP-29F turntable makes it simple to get the best from your vinyl.
Unbeatable heritage
Founded in 1910, Denon has over 110 years’ experience in audio and is one of the longest established hi-fi companies in the world. Since being at the forefront of gramophone technology in 1910, they went on to lead with professional disc cutting devices, LPs, audio cassette, professional and domestic CD, home cinema, DVD and much more. This unparalleled experience means you can be assured of the best performance-per-pound from the Denon DP-29F.
Lifelike sound quality
Set-up and ready to go, the DP29F doesn’t require any complicated or fiddly set-up. The fitted cartridge is perfectly aligned, ensuring you hear plenty of detail from the record’s grooves. The belt-drive system naturally damps motor noise, giving you a quiet backdrop and smooth stability.
Easy to use, fully automatic design
For ease of use, the DP-29F is a fully automatic design. Simply select the size of the record and the tonearm starts at just the right place. It also features auto-return, so you don't need to worry about damaging the stylus at the end of the record.
Connects to any system with an AUX input
The built-in phono stage means that you don't even need to use an amplifier or system with a dedicated turntable input - any system with an AUX input in will do. If you do have an amp with a phonostage built-in, however, you can turn off the Denon’s, making it completely flexible with compatible amps.
Compact and stylish
At 360mm wide and taking up not much more space than an LP’s footprint, this Denon turntable fits where others don’t. The smart silver design stands out from the crowd but uses a matte finish for practicality.
Enjoy your vinyl, in style, with the Denon DP-29F.
The Cambridge Audio AXA25 puts sound first - great sound simply doesn’t get much better than this.
No bells and whistles, just great sound
Inside the AXA25 you’ll find quality components and short signal paths for the best sound quality in its class. Careful circuit design reduces the signal path, giving higher purity sound and less distortion. Other quality engineering components include a high-spec heat sink that is die-cast rather than pressed steel and a damped power supply – reducing the chance of annoying transformer hum and buzz.
All the features you need
Although Cambridge Audio hasn’t wasted money on gimmicks, the AXA25 still has all the basic features you need. Balance, Bass and Treble controls let you tailor the sound to your preference, without overly distorting it as EQ presets can do. There are also a wide range of inputs.
Plenty of inputs – including one at the front
Four RCA phono inputs are ideal for a CD player, streamer, games console and turntable (with built-in pre-amp). There’s also a 3.5mm AUX input at the front that’s handy for temporary connections – such as an MP3 player or smartphone. The audio output lets you take a signal out to an external processor or recorder.
Power your music player or Bluetooth receiver
Next to the audio inputs you’ll also find a handy USB power socket. This is perfect for powering Bluetooth receivers or smart audio streaming devices, such as the Google Chromecast Audio, without having to find another spare mains socket.
Sleek new style
The entire Cambridge AX Series has a fresh new look that catches the eye. The Lunar Grey front panel contrasts with the black top and sides, making it ‘pop’ into crisp focus. The minimalist button count give a timeless style that’s typical of the Cambridge Audio brand. The teardrop facia with wedge foot mirrors the CX Series, showing a strong family link between ranges.
Make your move into hi-fi separates in style, with the class-leading Cambridge Audio AXA25.
Richer Sounds exclusive model.
Speaker legends don't get much bigger than the Wharfedale Diamond 9.0.
The original small hi-fi speaker
It's hard to believe that the original Wharfedale Diamond is now past its thirtieth birthday. All those decades ago, it was the Diamond speaker that proved, for the first time, that excellent quality sound could be achieved from a small, budget speaker. Since then there have been dozens of imitators, but the Diamonds remain amongst the best available.
Solid construction
The cabinet isn't just compact, it's also very solid. This combination gives the Diamonds an extremely accurate sound quality as the cabinet doesn't flex or vibrate. Equally impressive are the drive units. A soft dome tweeter gives the clarity and smoothness of sound you'd expect from a more expensive speaker, while the woofer cone uses a carbon fibre type weave to offer extremely taut and responsive bass.
Surprisingly powerful
With a front port, these bass reflex speakers are punchier than you might expect and in no way could they ever be described as tinny. Over all, they may be small but the sound is grown-up, with excellent staging, realism and surprisingly powerful.
Hi-fi connections
It's not just the major aspects of the design that Wharfedale have got right, it's the details, too. Proper 4mm banana sockets will accept thick cable and offer the best type of connection. Threaded sockets at the rear make for secure and easy bracket attachment.
At their original launch price of £100 these speakers were clearly market leaders. Now we're offering them at this bargain price, the Diamond 9.0 speakers are a gem of a deal!

sorted byBe aware though, no phono stage on the amp. Turntable has it ( I think?) So if you want to upgrade your turntable you'll have to factor one in
Fab deal though

I have purchased the bundle for my partner (who wants to be able to play some old vinyl she has inherited). The system produces a nice warm sound in a small room, but don't expect loads of bass (it's better suited to mid-range frequencies which it handles very well). We have also plugged into our TV (conveniently replacing a modest soundbar).
Some observations/considerations so far:
1. Speaker cables are not included and will need to be purchased separately.
2. There is no remote control (which may be a dealbreaker for some).
3. The amp does not include Bluetooth or wifi connectivity (which may be worth paying more for).
4. It is difficult to determine whether the amp unit is switched on or in standby mode (a light illuminates for both).
5. Issue 4 is made more confusing by the fact the amp auto powers off after a relatively short time.
6. They are different colours (which may or may not be important to you).
We are very happy with the system overall and are now thinking of adding a Wiim as suggested further up this thread.
Here's a review of the amp for anyone interested:
They've shot up in price!
Still got my Sony 500 from 25 years ago along with its twin brother mini disc
I then added a new Audio Technica turntable and now I'm sorted for £300 total
Prices haven't doubled in the last 15 years have they?
I have some old 90's copies of what hifi too if you need to check.
Many thanks,
LG.
(However, you deserve to treat yourself for some reason that you know of, so go for it!)
