This is a fantastic deal, this drill is one of the most powerful combi’s out there, I paid £160 for it back in March and have used it on a garden room build im doing, it’s damn heavy so not the best for some things but with a good drill bit it goes through 6 inch timber no problem just make sure you use the handle or you will snap your wrist off.

Other than the slightly newer 998/999 of the Dewalt fuel at 3 times the price you won’t find more power IMO.

Garden room build. Nice project. Any planning permissions needed? What about the foundations and etc? Would love to know so maybe i can do that aswell.

Thanks OP but says not available, as usual. Toolstation website on a mobile is nightmare and I cannot find how to change stores again,?

Someone else is offering it bare for £95, how much is the battery worth with OPs deal?

As others have said - a bit of a beast!
You really notice the torque when drilling a 16mm hole in metal, wedge it against the protuding piece of metal so it can't spin if it catches... drill with your head close to it and realise you've wedge it the wrong side as it catches you in the head with the 9ah battery I had on it!

Got mine today, had to drill a few holes with a 32mm spade bit. Absolute weapon, leaves my dcd796 in the dust.
