I have seen the same / similar drill on eBay - with 20% off - takes it down to about £46.00
It has 2 batteries but they are 1.5Ah
what does this mean - they don't last as long when charged ?

this same set is £46 on eBay with code
    1 x 2.5Ah battery ...

for the same price they have it with 2 x 1.5Ah

what is the best option ? (edited)

The 2.5 Ah battery will last longer on its own but the 2 1.5 Ah will last longer in total. Unless you are doing some really heavy duty DIY, I'd go for the 2 x 1.5 Ah as they are smaller and lighter weight.

Is this good for an every day drill for basic DIY? (edited)

    Yeah I would say so.

Seems to be the cheapest it's been... Is there a reason why I shouldn't get this? Other than the obvious one ( I don't need it)

Very good bit of kit. I'm doing my own renovation and over the past couple of years it's taken a battering without missing a beat!

I have this, did a few light works around the house and it's definitely strong and sturdy.

Great price. I have their 12V drill and its been extremely reliable through a lot of DIY.

The drill is still going strong after 3 years but 2 out of the 3 einhell batteries I have have died and no longer charge.
If you want something to last longer then you would need to spend more. 3 years of use at this price is not bad.

Bear in mind this is NOT a brushless motor. It has a brushed motor.

It literally says “brushless drill” in the item description.

showing delivery as 30 March....is this same for everyone?

That's if you get it from Amazon . Click the other offers to find the cheaper one with quicker delivery. I just grabbed this. Need a drill/screwdriver for a few bits and having the option for the odd bit of masonry stone drilling for this price seems awesome
