Is this the type of vac you would attach to a tool like a table saw?

Lidl have a 30L vacuum 1400w with PTO in their middle isle this week. I bought one yesterday and used it tonight.. PTO worked great with my track saw. It’s £79 but it you download the Lidl plus app there’s a coupon for 10% off it

I got one of these at last years Black Friday deal so I've had it about 9 months.

Its been in use ever since during my house renovation and I got to say its been amazing.

Used to drain down pipes, attached to a sander while sanding down plaster, circular saw while cutting chipboard and mdf, general rubble pickup.

The suction is great, the bag lasts longer than you think and it all still looks great. It really is hard wearing.

The only downside is, I occasionally get a static shock given the drum is stainless steel and the wheels are rubber.

What I don't like, the hose is a little short as is the lead.

I could buy a longer hose, but for what I'm using it for, its fine.

All I can say is if mine dies I'll definitely buy another. (edited)

Get a piece of cable taped to it and ground it? 😝

Is this what they use on those tik toks for car detailing
    PsychoSonny's avatar
No they use a proper extractor which costs £200-£300. This isn't suitable for cleaning carpets. It's good for flood damage and DIY use

    I have this

    Good points

    Powerful
    Fits dewalt tools

    Bad

Papaet bags (I use titan ones cheaper)
    Its big
    Hose is a bit short
Its dewalt branded but not dewalt as they wouldn't extend warranty it was told to go back to costco.

I would recommend it, as we leave it on site and does everything we need

This or a Henry? I'm aware Henry is much more expensive and I really only need the dry element.

Ask yourself what do you see professionally cleaners using and that answer the question. Henry all day 🏻

I have the titan. Best vaccum to have for dirty jobs. I clean everything with that. Blower function is a great addition and very useful

Could this be convereted to become a gutter cleaning vacuum by adding a 10m extension pole?

Just collected one from St Helens this afternoon, and there were around 5/6 left on the shelf.
Thanks OP my cheap titan died last week after 7/8 years of service, so perfect timing 😁 (edited)

I’ve currently got a screwfix special titan wet and dry vac. Not sure if this would be a big enough upgrade to warrant getting it.

Can't find anything online about how many Watts the motor is. Does anyone knows? And how is the suction compared to other shop vacs? I've got a Ryobi 30L 1500W and I can't complain about the suction. I was wondering how this one compares.

1250W.  Looks good on most YouTube reviews so I’ve ordered as been on the lookout for a while for a DeWalt one.  Probably wouldn’t replace your Ryobi with it though, unless there is something wrong with it of course
