Funnily enough, Metro (a massive UK news source) has shut down their twitter account after posting this.

Judging by the latest 2 episodes it’s not really made for adults to enjoy either
(Snot monsters and silly musical dance numbers)

    The,
    "fearsome new threat"
, being that nobody wants to watch Dr Who?

I've not watched it for decades, so it makes no odds to me.

I honestly thought it couldn't get any worse. Yet here we are. The vandalism of once great IPs continues apace.

I honestly wouldn't let my kids watch this drivel, they need protected from this rubbish

The landmine episode (written by Russell T.) was good. It did contain problems though. Like the infantilising of the teenager (calling her father 'daddy', and after all that time living in a war zone not knowing what a coffin capsule looked like.
