    The silver on this is a coating, which eventually starts to peel off as the metal inside corrodes. I'm not convinced this is aluminium at all, and I wouldn't pay a tenner for it having had one before. It lasted probably 2-3 years of being used several times a week and wasn't bad, but the plastic hose lock triggers that I bought to replace it are still going and I've had them longer than the draper.
    The hose lock I got also has better patterns (IMO)

    Which one did you buy please. I’ve had metal hozelock ones before and only last about two years.

    We purchased this going with the Draper name and description. It's OK but since seen the exact same model with another brand name on it for 1/3rd of the price. Would not buy again at this price (we paid around £15). The mechanism to lock the trigger on is unbelievably cheap and flimsy. (edited)

    Now that the hosepipe ban has been lifted in Kent & Sussex.. Yep. (check your area first, it might still be like the Sahara in Lincolnshire )
