    Spot on... Not even silver

Yes it is. Just because you had a poor experience, doesn't mean you can lie about what the products are made of.

It's not silver plated, it's all sterling silver, which can't just "come off". The brown/black is oxidisation, which is very normal, and would come off and look good as new with a polish.

This guy is right, it is oxidisation. My partners started going all black looking some years ago so we went to Pandora and they cleaned it for free! Looked as good as the display ones if not better by the time they had finished!

Bracelet is worth the RRP. That’s the deal. The perceived worth, from your perspective, isn’t relevant in the offer. It’s not a ‘pay what you want scheme’. Common sense tells you that.

Do Pandora do a lot of promotions like this or have I likely missed the saving before Christmas? (I think I know the answer, just haven’t took notice of Pandora until now ) thanks to anyone who knows

Sign up to their free Pandora club which also gives you free postage with no minimum spend & subscribe to their newsletters & you get early notification of the offers

They do various promotions throughout the year but would think this would be the last one before Christmas...some that have happened in the past are....3 for 2 with cheapest item free, spend x amount & choose a 'free' bracelet from a selection, spend x amount & choose a free charm from a given selection, spend x amount & get a free Pandora branded item of some sort....could be a jewellery roll, small jewellery box....they usually do a limited edition Christmas ornament that you get free with a certain spend. Not sure if I'm being much help but those are just a few I can think of off the top of my head. (edited)

What is the actual value of money then? It's in the eye of the beholder

I'm sure everyone spends money on things that aren't worth the true value. Do you ever go to restaurants/bars as that is low value for money compared to the cost of the ingredients?

Their black Friday offer was pitiful as they'd done a 3 for 2 in September which was a far better offer.

Strangely enough until last year their Black Friday offer was usually the limited edition bangle/bracelet but last year they did 20% off for black Friday with the bracelet offer starting just on the back if it...the same as they've done now....I assume they changed it last year due to the Covid situation at the time it should have been on as certain areas in England & Scotland were in lockdown so they couldn't open all their shops. This is the idea, isn't it? With Pandora you're paying extra for the brand recognition, brand trust, design and retail experience. The material cost of the goods themselves is fairly low, and they aren't the only business making charm bracelets. Cheaper products exist with a similar material quality.

That doesn't make Pandora a "rip-off". It's just a matter of understanding what you're paying for. Some will be happy to pay the extra. Some will be happy now and regret it later. And some would rather shop elsewhere and pay less. (edited)

Oh oh sorry....I now feel like I've kicked you while you were down

Seriously though as I said to a previous comment if you become a club member at Pandora then you usually get early access to their offers and postage is free no matter how much you order....costs nothing to sign up and activate their newsletters to be notified of new releases and offers.

The only other thing I would say regards the packaging side of things....Pandora online went to eco-friendly packaging a while back and it is terrible....really cheap and nasty (and yes I know some people would say everything Pandora does is cheap and nasty )...they do give you the option to select "this is a gift" on the basket page but even then all it means is you get your items packaged in a flat cardboard box rather than a pop-up box and you should hopefully get a bag although they've been missing from my last few Pandora orders. If packaging is important to you I would buy from one of the other official Pandora retailers rather than directly from the Pandora website

Thanks again for the info and no not at all. I spent 100 quid with discount and got a 10 pound quidco boost so not a million miles off but 2 get 1 free so can live with it and not worth all the hassle for returning. I may pop in to store though for the gift boxes. It's at the manager's discretion but sure they'll oblige 🤞

A product isnt simply "worth" as much as the cost of materials and labour making it. Company's have to make a profit to remain a business. If this is how you feel about when a product is on sale, why are you on here in the first place even looking at deals?
