Hey @victoriaevans , thanks for posting! I've added product info underneath :)
I should point out that I have a Pandora bracelet!
Pandora and Tiffany are brands that are mass produced and are instantly recognisable like Adidas and Nike which is what many consumers want. Either because they want the same things that everyone else has which is what high street fashion is all about it for some these brands are seen as affordable luxury items which is why they are most usually worn by people on low incomes. I know now that sounds terribly insulting but mass consumerism isn’t targeted at people who want individuality and want to pay for quality and not a brand name
Isn't the point of jewellery that its not mass produced, that it has value beyond its materials. Everything about this is geared to play on the idea that jewellery is valuable while having no value at all. This is basically the beanie baby of this generation
Same as trainers, apparently even the most expensive trainers don’t cost more than a couple of dollars to make. All mass produced fashion items are going to be made cheaply and sold at a high profit.

Agreed, lets merge and agree on Overpriced cheap tat :)
As I said, for jewellery you are paying for the design. If you sell, sell at auctions - you are more likely to get closer to what you paid for them if they are a sought after design. If you go to a jewellers/pawnbrokers they will pay only for the price of the silver/gold and then half that for their mark up. You are not going to get anywhere near what you paid for it. A silver charm wholesale depends on the weight but can be anything from £3 to £5.50. The retail price will be £30 to £55. you may be able to get them in a sale for half the RRP, or even 70% of RRP but even then there is still a massive mark up.
Pandora are a joke, insanely overpriced tat.
Be wary of this stuff. It’s very cheap metal marketed well. When my partner went to sell her bracelets with about £500 worth of charms on them she was offered £10 from multiple reputable brokers. If you want to buy someone a piece of jewellery buy something that has real value.
