Avoid this if you actually want to play Minecraft.

Every time this comes up, someone with an understanding of hardware / gaming will (correctly) point out that this thing is woefully specified and will only barely run Minecraft. Then a raft of people jump in and say it'll be fine.

Honestly, take your £130 to ebay and buy a second-hand Dell Latitude 7280. (edited)

this one is clearly superior to the other identical geobook laptops because it is green and you can claim you have a "gaming laptop" seriously for absolutely no logical reason I would get this one over the others

Been trying to purchase toys. Message about my bank etc comes up. My bank says nothing wrong on there end. Smith toys are useless online. When you ring past 9am and lines are closed and open at 9am shows what your dealing with.. bank are useless to.

Had the Geobook 110 Laptop/Tablet. Sent it back - wasn't good enough for even occasional use. Hopefully the 140 is good for kids?

Bought for 109 from ao last week with the Intel offer might be worth waiting for another offer

So, it's a fairly low-powered (Intel Celeron N4020 dual core processor) with 4GB RAM, but at £129 with 10hrs battery life and a 14" screen (admittedly1366 x 768 pixels), could this be a candidate as the base for a Chromebook install? It's not going to be on Google's list of approved devices, but presumably meets the basic spec. They recently released the new Chrome Flex installation, which brings together the various 'Cloudready' versions.

If you're happy with the idea of Chromebooks, then it might be worth a try.
