Not going to vote either way on the price. I've had numerous cheap parasol's before. This time spent probably too much on a branded one I viewed in a store, it twists and rotates in every possible way and has solar led lights. The sun moves massively for our garden and without all the rotate and horizontal tilt it would not actually be useful as I won't be moving it's 100kg base about each time we use it. It's made the outside far more usable so whilst expensive it's cheaper than an extension or permanent shade setup.

Which is a bad way of saying, whatever your budget consider the sun locations, space you have and ability to move the item. Make sure it will give you maximum usage for your £. This includes build quality and lifespan.

Enjoy the summer which hopefully starts soon 🙈 (edited)

Looking through the reviews, a lot state flimsy and won’t stand up to wind… obviously need to get extra weights anyway but interesting comments

Can get extra weights but in a light breeze the main arm will still twist and bend. Prefer a vented parasol personally.

Canopy on this one can’t be tilted unlike the equally cheap Amazon one. Handy if you want shade throughout the day
