Super selfies? Check. A three-day battery life? You bet. 5G Connectivity? Obviously. Google’s best-of-everything Pixel 7 Pro has it all. Keeping up with your favourite shows is a dream on the 6.7" OLED display, with the telephoto lens and pro-level features like Macro Focus always making sure to capture your best angles.

Don't worry about security either - the Titan M2 security chip and built-in VPN help protect your personal data.

5G capability
Say bye-bye to buffering. The super-fast 5G-ready connection zips through downloads at record pace. Stream, browse, and watch whatever you want, wherever you want. Waiting forever for your Instagram feed to load up will be a distant memory.

Immersive screen, with super vivid colour
It’s more of the same dazzling display that wowed us on the Pixel 6. Just a bit bigger. The 6.7-inch OLED display comes HDR-enabled and has a 120Hz variable refresh rate. Put in plain English (don’t worry, we had to look up half of that too), those fancy numbers and letters mean you get smooth scrolling and superb colour on a clear, bright, movie-style screen.

Dust, drop and splash resistant
The Pixel 7 Pro safeguards you from any little oops, with IP68 water and dust resistance. The screen also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, making it tougher and less prone to scratches.

Your safety is Pixel's priority
Your Pixel looks out for you with the Personal Safety app. In an emergency, Pixel can automatically call for help, share your location or record a video.

Tiny is epic
Pixel 7 Pro's updated ultrawide1 lens powers Macro Focus. The smallest details make magnificent shots – raindrops, snowflakes, petals or a blade of grass.

Simply touch to unlock
With face unlock and the on-screen fingerprint sensor, you can instantly log in to your apps and websites without compromising on security.

Make photobombers disappear
Magic Eraser is a real game-changer. With a few taps, you can remove strangers and unwanted objects from pics. Or change the colour and brightness of an object, so that it blends right in. It’s never been easier to forget about your ex.

The camera that makes you feel seen
Real Tone represents more skin tones beautifully, authentically and accurately in photos, videos and Meet video calls.

And... action!
Bring more drama to videos. Cinematic Blurkeeps your subject in focus and blurs the background for a dramatic effect. Hello, Hollywood.

It's everything that a battery should be
Pixel's Adaptive Battery can last over 24 hours. Turn on Extreme Battery Saver, and the battery can last up to 72 hours. And your Pixel charges super fast.

How does this compare to the iPhone 13 Pro? I have no complaints with it but honestly bored and miss my Pixel I had before (4a)

I've had both the iPhone 13 Pro Max and Pixel 7 Pro. Both are undeniably great phones. IMHO, it depends what you like in a phone. iPhone for battery life and ecosystem, but Pixel is unbeatable with its camera, 'smarts' and ease of use.

If you have a 13 Pro (flagship phone), and you miss your 4a (budget phone), I'd say go back to Pixel. That's what I did, and I'd make the same decision again. (edited)

I think most people would be better off buying a cheapo ebay cracked screen phone of whatever model the trade in allows, and sell their decent phone elsewhere. I'm not saying the trade in prices before the bonus are terrible, just that it seems to require you being phoneless at some point.

Ebay has various good condition iPhone 5 models for around £30 or less delivered. Get one of those, say its poor condition, cracked screen, accept the 48p trade in value, and enjoy the £125 voucher.

If the device you want to trade in is decent, look at CEX or wherever, you'll get the same price without having to be phoneless / in voucher limbo.

I can't find which "Selected devices" they will take as a trade in. Seems the £125 if you get it, is in the form of a gift card.

Still a decent deal but I like to know I was getting £125 before actually making the purchase. Suppose you could always return it for a refund if you don't get the £125

Just be aware if you're used to Samsung UI you'll miss features like the sidebar, scrolling screenshot, email client, etc. I did... so ended up returning the Pixel 7 Pro and reverting back to my S21 Ultra! (edited)

It was the opposite for me. It was so refreshing having a nice an clean UI unlike the bloated garbage that is Samsung's UI, with the 3000 apps they force on the user

can someone tell me I find the trade button? I'm looking for it and not showing up.
Also as others have commented on, is the £125 the minimum I'll receive from the trade-in promotion, + whatever the value of the trade-in phone is? thanks

Why don't you follow the link?

    It'll tell you.

.... They will, if it powers on and works as intended. It's worth £1.37 with a smashed screen. You'll get the 125 bonus on top though.

Just send the bare device. The only company that might push for a charger in the past has been currys. No one else does, and they all warn you accessories sent in are not able to be returned.

So it's not a guarantee you will get £125 you could get offered £50 and you have already given your phone away to them at that point.

Am I reading the terms right?
If the exact model is not listed it wont be accepted?
    I have a Samsung S10+ 512gb. The 128gb is listed. The 512gb is not.
It would work out to be a good deal if it was.
    Crossbow's avatar
    Crossbow
The 512Gb option is listed, but beware it is valued at only £25 once you select the condition options!

I've made a schoolboy error, I've ordered this with the trade in offer of £125.
Filled out the trade in part and it said they will trade Samsung S series S5, I was happy so went for it,
While backing up my old Samsung realised it's not an S5 but an S4, Tried to contact Amazon and they told me to contact Samsung trade offer. :/
Shall I just cancel my order completely? Or just go for it without the trade in ? (edited)
    Crossbow's avatar
    Crossbow
Get a cheapo, working S5 off eBay or Facebook-MP & trade that in. Can't be missing the £125!!! Or, at least £100 as the working secondhand S5 is likely to be £20-25. (edited)

Yeah, it's weird compared to all other trade in schemes. Good luck transferring everything across with smart switch, seeing as you've sent your old phone away a week before you get yer new one...

Ordered it and paid £553.33 after they gave me a whopping 10p for my Samsung S6 Edge. They also instantly put the £125 in my account.

I've got the 7 pro. Only just realised you can't screen mirror as it doesn't support Miracast.

Need a Chromecast or android TV which is shocking. I actually like the phone but the fact I can't mirror to my Samsung TVs like I could with other android phones isn't on.

Don't support this walled garden practice these guys are doing. Really hurts the end consumer.

Outside of apple, most brands don't have fans bases loyal enough to get away with it.

What a mess of a deal. Some people getting a discount straight away, others being told to send phone first.

the prices shooting up and down on Amazon. The 7 pro is £661, £749 and £800 (256gb) now depending on the colour you choose.

Will you get the trade in value offered? Will they process it in time? Will the price have changed yet again before you get a chance to buy it with your voucher?

I don’t want to take the risk. This is a pain since the back started opening on my current mi 11 for some reason and I could do with a new replacement.

Yeah these trade in deals aren't great. You have to trade in your phone, (be phoneless) then wait till they receive it and check it over, then you will get the credit and who knows what the price of the phone will even be by then on Amazon when you are able to use the credit.
    Robdataff's avatar
    Robdataff
One thing I would say, the amazon offer is price matching the Google deal which is for the next month. So... Price changes are unlikely, maybe a fiver up if you are unlucky.

Doesn't stop you having the major issue of not having a phone while the trade in happens, and also having a major f*** around trying to transfer everything when you've already sent your old phone away.

There's a whole list of trade in items they accept but going through will give you the max possible value then at the end an option to accept or not accept the possible value. For example s20 + 5g in perfect nick estimated £180 but could possibly be appraised at £18!

All discounts have been significantly reduced now.Trade in was largely scam for the ones who didn't get the instant discount on their cell phones and their is no option to cancel the trade-in too once they receive it.

    Robdataff's avatar

Nah, if the condition you send it indoesn't match what you said it was, then they'll give you the poorer price.

So if you say its got no scratches, and it does, that's what they'll offer you for it. You can choose if you want to get it back instead.
