I've had these shoes a week now and have completed over 12 miles in them over 3 walks and I'm pleased with the quality.

They had sizes 40 - 47 available when this was posted (they are made in Italy hence Euro sizing). I have the size 9/43 and the length is true to size, they were a little tight across the toes at first but i have quite wide feet and the shoes have already started to become comfier there. But if you have really wide feet these maybe won't be for you.

Adding the Protector spray takes the price to £60 which then gets you the accessory pack, I needed the boot laces too so it was really convenient for me, hopefully someone else finds it useful.

There are also other styles on sale at similar price like the Tridents for men and women.

"Apache is a lowland walking shoe ideal for light treks and brisk walks in the countryside. The toggle lace system provides hassle-free lacing and a secure fit. The deep cleated Vibram raptor sole ensures a firm grip on all terrain while the dual density midsole absorbs impact while walking.
As with all Grisport shoes, Apache is made in Italy in the greenest shoe factory in Europe."

Materials: Upper Made From Anti Tear Nylon/Cordura and suede
Lining: Spotex Waterproof And Breathable Lining
Heel And Sole: Deep Cleated Vibram Raptor Rubber Sole
Fastenings: Quick Fastening Toggle Lacing System
Main Features: A Padded Insole With Anti Scuff Toe Rand
Weight: 680g (per pair size 41)
Made In Italy

Free exchanges and easy returns (label included, £2.50 deducted from refund if not faulty).

I'm not sure when the deal ends.

Oh nice find! I've put it in the deal now, thank you! (edited)

have you been able to test waterproof-ness e.g. what are they like in wet grass? Also, is the lacing system ok, as tempted to go for trident instead with normal laces, so dont have the toggle flapping about. (edited)

I haven't tested the waterproofing properly yet, weather's been great recently! Out of their 14 reviews on site one does mention the waterproofing seems good.
I am really liking the lacing system as i can make them tight at the top but fully loose at the bottom, across the toes, and that is working great for my feet. They also have a strap midway down you can tuck the toggle into so no flapping about.
Also they still have loops so you I reckon you could simply cut the toggle system out and replace them with laces if you preferred. (edited)

I could be wrong but Trustpilot is not their supported review partner. Reviews.io is:-

    reviews.co.uk/company-reviews/store/grisport

Also Trustpilot total reviews is super low - it should be in the thousands to be representative. (edited)

I'm a 8.5 uk shoes size which is 42.5 in eu and they only do 42 or 43. Which size do do those that have bought them think I shoukd get?
    hullk's avatar

The length seemed bang on to me so I would definitely get the 43 and not a smaller size.

Mine just came up as £44, including the free accessories pack and free DPD delivery.
    Thanks for posting, Hulk! (edited)

...and did they then charge you extra post the initial email. Since that prob is a glitch rather than expected protocol as you need to purchase over £60...

Just received mine and very happy. I reckon this will be one of the bargains of the year. Can always gift the merino socks, neck gaiter and laces as a Christmas present for someone

Looks like if you add two pairs to go past £60 threshold, the accessory pack automatically adds in basket, and stays when you delete a pair. So no need to pay for another item, if you just want shoes. With 20% off comes to £44.

Just received mine today, but the package did not include the accessories pack, although it is shown on the invoice (shaded in grey though...see pic). Happy with the shoes though!50462613-j9Rbm.jpg

Might be because of the trick you used (adding and removing an extra pair i think), that's why i didn't put it in the deal when someone posted it in the comments, I thought they might not honour it.
The shoes are great though! Just done another 7.5 miles today, they're just about fully broken in now for me. Enjoy!

I emailed them and expressed my surprise at the accessory pack not being included in my delivery even though it is clearly shown on my invoice, but they just said it did not meet the conditions of the offer (minimum spend of £60)....fair enough, I suppose, but worth a try anyway!
    Sprintz's avatar
50474345-xu39x.jpgI did the same and removed the second pair (without spending over the threshold)

Strangely they still gave me all the goodies!!!!

I received my shoes today and got the accessories pack, great deal and thanks for posting. I did as others said, add two pairs to checkout to get the free accessories, then remove one pair. good shoes.

Hullk please can you wear these whilst having a shower, would like to understand how good the waterproof factor is...

How wide fitting are they? Especially around the toe area.
    hullk's avatar
    Author
Like i said in the description, they're not wide fitting. I do have quite wide feet and the first 4 mile walk I did my right toes were going numb. 2nd 4-miler they were a little better, then my last walk on tues was a 7-miler and they were better still, like surprisingly so. I work the toggle system so they are fully loose at the toes but tight at the top of the shoe; for me that has been staying like that while walking and they are definitely breaking in there nicely, but other people with wide/wider feet might not like them or have the same experience as me.

Maybe we should all report back on here when we get them. I like the Italian pedigree - don't most shoes/boots come from China these days? Hopefully won't need to send back

Yeah a lot of shoes now are made in Cambodia and Vietnam sweatshops; it is a nice change to buy from somewhere 'better' - they claim their factory is the greenest in Europe. How true that is I don't know! But I lived in Cambodia for a year so know what's going on out there.
